T.I. and wife set to host Alzheimer’s event

T.I. may be receiving a fair share of bad press lately, but the rapper turned the spotlight on a worthy cause over the weekend in Atlanta. Tip and his wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle hosted a luncheon for their foundation “For the Love of Our Fathers,” which raises money for disease research and offers relief to caregivers. Tiny’s father has the brain disorder and T.I. said his father and grandmother also had the disease when they died.
“It’s very, very personally close to our family,” Tip told the AP. “And while I was, you know, while I was going through my … period of hiatus, Tameka had the idea of … starting this foundation. And I thought it was an outstanding idea.”
As for the couple’s recent arrest on drug charges, T.I. declined to comment, saying, “We’re not going to talk much except for Alzheimer’s.” – Of course! With T.I. album being pushed back to support his box office disaster “Takers” maybe it’s time T.I. picks up the peices of what is left of his career and for god’s sake put out a record already! Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz since their wedding

Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz stepped arm-in-arm into September. The pregnant songstress and her husband strolled through Tribeca for a little shopping. The Mrs. showed off her legs in shorts and sandals, while Swizz bared the New York heat in an orange polo and shorts. The couple is expecting their first child this fall.
Alicia will return to the stage at her annual Black Ball at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom on September 30, along with performers Jay-Z and Sade. As for her other half, he is crafting new music for Snoop Dogg and Mary J. Blige and completing his own album Haute Living.
Later that day Alicia Keys and her new husband Swizz Beatz were seen enjoying a romantic meal in a (wait for it…) salad bar. The couple — who tied the knot at the end of July — hit up Big Apple eatery Via dei Mille, where they shared a Caprese salad, mixed vegetable plate and sea bass.
“They seemed so in love,” an onlooker told us. “There was not a moment of silence between the two.” Beatz and Keys are expecting their first child together later this year. Swizz recently opened up about his wedding to the Fallin’ singer. “Everything was just wow. After exchanging vows in a Miami Beach courthouse, T.I. and Tiny celebrated their marriage with a fairytale wedding on the exclusive Star Island on Saturday (July 31).
The bride and groom both wore white and arrived in a horse-drawn carriage. They were joined by some of their celebrityfriends including Usher, Nelly, Ashanti, Jermaine Dupri, Angela Simmons, Bow Wow, Diamond, and Kim Porter. Monica, Antonia “Toya” Carter, and Kandi Burruss were bridesmaids.

Yes, you guessed it! Speculation surrounding the relationship between The-Dream and Christina Milian is set to intensify after the hit-making producer was snapped ‘getting close’ with a mystery woman while holidaying in the Caribbean last week. The pictures come just one month after he strenuously denied that there was any issues in their marriage.
Interesting, even though with a child in the equation, these two look like they going to end it! – yawn, so now we all know why he named his album “Love King“. Of course Christina Milian did the next best thing, and tweeted her business to the world! Here are more exclusive shots of the new couple!
Also notice, how The-Dream has gained, a little – okay I’ll drop the nice act, yes boy has he put on a lot weight! Needless to say his new woman isn’t really a head turner if you ask me either. Nick Cannon gifts diamond ring to Mariah Carey every year! (and i’m sure she’s worth it!). So with Nick Cannon (who recently revealed he doesn’t mind being called Mr Carey…eek!) and Mariah Carey will be renewing their wedding vows for the third time, apparently according to “Mr Carey” this happens every year (oh, that must get boring). Well “Mr Carey” sure loves Mariah Carey when he purchased her engagement ring back in 2008 during the release of MiMi’s #19 number one single “Touch My Body” – which is a reportedly estimated $2.2 million from exclusive jeweller Jacob & Co. Nick Cannon said “She is, to me, the most famous woman in the world. I knew [my life] was going to change, and I was up for it. Considering everything, I was like, ‘hey, it doesn’t matter.” He went on to say “The last two weddings we had were kind of island-driven and off in remote places. This time we’re going to do it home.” – I suppose this would come as a relief for Mariah Carey who didn’t even invite her mother to the secret wedding in 2008.
Further more Mariah Carey is currently working on her new album which is due for a November release, although slightly worried about how people may react to this album, I’m sure (as always) Mariah Carey will pull through (fingers crossed!). Recent photos have also may suggested that Mariah Carey has been putting on a little weight, yet again fuelling the pregnancy rumours! But this is typical MiMi, gain weight, have a bit of fun, spend money and then push out a successfully album and a #1 single (all in a year’s work!). Saying that, we’ve not heard a lot from diva Mariah Carey in a while but she did say “I might just have to hurry up and do it so the rumors can go away…my schedule is starting to calm down, you never know. In the next year or two the rumors might come true.”
Drake and Nicki Minaj Engaged?

With Nicki Minaj enjoying the life of being Cash Money’s biggest selling female artist, may have also been given another unexpected present. Label co-worker and now rumoured fiancée Drake (who is currently working on his next LP) along side with Nicki Minaj featured on the cover of XXL Magazine for this month’s edition.
It’s been clear that the two have had something going on, appearing together at GQ’s Man of the Year after party and in their recent cameo appearance in the #1 R&B single “BedRock” with Young Money. Close sources confirmed that Drake who is currently in New York visited an exclusive jeweller and purchased (price to be confirmed at the moment) a what appeared to be an engagement ring for Nicki Minaj – her people have told us that she is on a “short break” before she returns to the studio and start planning the “We Are Young Money World Tour” that is suggested to start late November.
So could it be true? Nicki Minaj and Drake could be having a quick and quite (well not so quite) wedding? To be fair, everything adds up but i find it hard to believe that Nicki Minaj would want to settle down as a wife to a commercially growing rapper!
