T.I. pushed out “I’m Back”
Apr 28th
In many respects this video reminds of T.I.‘s “What You Know About That“, and although a little dark this video serves justice to the track which is a mid-tempo street rap track. With that said, I do not think this will be the single that would make people to want to the buy T.I.‘s forthcoming album “King Uncaged“; yeah, I do understand that this will not make a lot of radio airplay, but still a rap track will always be a rap track and if T.I wants to keep up with his northern rivals who seems to making more radio friendly tracks i very much doubt “I’m Back” will be making much circulation.
I know previously I’ve slatted commercial pushed rappers; but for the sake of T.I.‘s current position he got a lot to live up to (some people have simply forgot about him). With continuous disputes with Grand Hustle’s mother Warner Brother Music; the album “King Uncaged” has been given a official release date of August 17 2010, but do expect for this album’s date to be pushed back! I was excited for this T.I project – with no official track listing available who knows what the commercial first single of King Uncaged” will be!? Let’s just hope he lives up to his singles such as “What You Know About That“, “Whatever You Like” and “Live Your Life“. Keep it locked on MoMo for more information about T.I.‘s “King Uncaged“.

Apr 16th
Okay guys some real industry news Record label Warner Music has said it will stop licensing its songs to free music streaming services (eek!?). Companies like Spotify, We7 and Last.fm give free, legal and instant access to millions of songs, funded by adverts (yay!).
Warner, one of the four major labels, whose artists include REM, P.Diddy, Jason Derulo, and Michael Buble and many more, said such services were “clearly not positive for the industry”, we’ll I couldn’t f said it any better! That raises questions over the future of free streaming, which is popular with fans but not lucrative for labels. We got a statement from Read the rest of this entry »
T.I. talks about new album “King Uncaged”
Apr 16th
With MoMo exclusively reviling that T.I was back in the studio, details on the album development for “King Uncaged” which is set for release August 24th 2010 has been revealed. “King Uncaged” was not the original that was meant to be T.I‘s seventh studio album, another album was shelved during December 2009 set for release in April – close sources told use that Warner Brothers Music owner of Grand Hustle Records shelved the project after the 20 track album was disappointing to label seniors.
T.I dropped unofficial first single of the album “King Uncaged” during March 2010, however no music video was released after the poor reception of the track. Sources from Grand Hustle Records have confirmed that T.I has been in the studio with DJ Toomp, Lil Cee, Danja, The Runners and TrackSlayerz; much of the album’s production would come from new producers (which will be good for T.I to get a fresh sound and maybe to return to some of his old routes and super selling album “The King“). Close sources has said that DJ Toomp confirmed that he had already worked three songs with T.I and plans to record two more and others reported that Swizz Beatz has been contributing production to the album (Yes! Swizz Beatz and T.I are always good together!). However a little drama seems to be emerging around the release of the “King Uncaged” LP by T.I which is being moved about by Grand Hustle, is T.I trying to avoid an album show down battle with up and coming rapper Drake; could it be South vs North?
