The teen idol has announced the Valentine’s Day release of Never Say Never – The Remixes, a seven-track offering featuring collaborations with Chris Brown, Kanye West, Raekwon, Usher, Miley Cyrus, Jaden Smith, and Rascal Flatts. Chris Brown will appear on the remix to “Up,” a bonus track originally off Bieber’s latest album My World 2.0. “ME and @justinbieber got a BANGER/SMASH record for all the fans out there at the top of the NEW YEAR!!!” tweeted Breezy last month. Usher doing his last minute Christmas shopping

Usher spent the day off from his “OMG Tour” shopping for clothes for his sons in New York City’s SoHo district. A scruffy Ursh was snapped at the Diesel store, picking up pricey pants and jackets for Usher Raymond V and Naviyd Ely Raymond, making sure they look just as sharp as their dad. He will play Madison Square Garden on Monday.
When Usher chose a fan to serenade at one of his concerts, we bet he didn’t expect to get kicked in the face! But that’s exactly what happened when a fan got a bit to excited and tried to whip her leg over Usher.
With the footage caught on video, the fan who nearly knocked Usher out, must be under a rock, dying of embarrassment right this moment. However, Usher is seeing the funny side of things telling the fan through:“Wherever you are baby, don’t feel bad. No hard feelings.”
He continued: “In all my years, this is one of the most interesting experiences. I got a kick out of it! It looked worse than it actually was. My audience and I got a good laugh.”. Usher is expected to play in the UK this February to a sold out venue. Although fans where disappointed to find out that no further extra dates were added to the “OMG Tour” – that still won’t stop them from doing anything to get their kick out of Usher! Alicia Keys and stars die for the cause!

Twitter streams across the world are about to lose some starpower. On Wednesday (Dec. 1), celebs including Alicia Keys, Lady Gaga, Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Justin Timberlake, Kim Kardashian, Janelle Monáe, Swizz Beatz, Jay Sean, and more are taking part in the new campaign Digital Life Sacrifice where they will sign off of social media platforms including Facebook and Twitter on behalf of Keys’ charity Keep a Child Alive.
The digital protest is intended to raise money on World AIDS Day, with participants signing back on to their respective social networking profiles when the charity raises $1 million. Many have filmed “last tweet and testament” advertisements where they laid in coffins to represent their “digital deaths” in preparation for the big day.
“It’s really important and super-cool to use mediums that we naturally are on,” Keys tells the AP of the digital protest. “It’s so important to shock you to the point of waking up. It’s not that people don’t care or it’s not that people don’t want to do something, it’s that they never thought of it quite like that.”

Trey Songz talks about Usher’s “OMG Tour”

Ladies get ready. Fresh off his headlining tour with Monica, Trey Songz is gearing up to hit the road with fellow R&B lothario Usher on his “OMG Tour” beginning November 10 at Seattle’s KeyArena. Before he took the stage at last week’s “So Kodak” concert (epic fail in my words!) with Drake,we captured a few moments with the “Bottoms Up” singer, who told us how the pairing came about and which of his tourmate’s tunes stay on repeat.
How did you link up with Usher? “Well, Usher and I first started collaborating work-wise on the “I Invented Sex (Remix),” but we’ve known each other for a while and he’s always been someone I could come to for advice. Furthermore, he’s paved the way for guys like myself to even do what we do. So to go on tour with Usher, who’s now at iconic status—I believe—and for me to be involved and to know that I mean something to the tour is an amazing feeling.”
What kind of influence has he had on your career? “Well Usher was one of the first young sex symbol kind of artists of my generation. It’s because of guys like him that I’m even able to do this.” What are your favorite Usher songs? “Nice & Slow,” some of the earlier Usher stuff, “You Make Me Wanna…” and “Burn.” He’s had hit after hit after hit after hit.

Alicia Keys calls on star list friends to help push “Buy Life” campaign

Alicia Keys is only a few weeks away from giving life to her first child, but first she’s giving birth to the “Buy Life” campaign. The pregnant songstress sports a T-shirt with a unique barcode in her ad to benefit the Keep a Child Alive foundation. Other celebrity supporters include Usher, Jay Sean, Kim Kardashian, Ryan Seacrest, and hubby Swizz Beatz.
Each ad has a scannable technology built-in allowing users to use their cell phone to donate money to help give life to millions of people affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa and India by providing medicine, food, and shelter.
“With the money raised [at the Black Ball], KCA can now help save even more lives affected by this horrible pandemic,” stated Keys. “With the launch of the BUY LIFE campaign, I’mconfident less people will needlessly have to die because of lack of proper healthcare.”

Chris Brown speaks out on Usher Tour and fake industry friends…

The Internet lit up with reports of a possible joint tour between Usher and Chris Brown, but it never came to fruition. The “Deuces” singer is keeping it real, revealing why the tour didn’t go down and why he doesn’t keep many friends in the industry.
Breezy appeared on Angie Martinez’s Hot 97 radio show on Wednesday to discuss the cancelled outing. “We kinda had different views on the tour—no beef,” explained Chris. “We both have two different promoters, so whoever would get the tour would have to work it out and I think they didn’t see eye to eye. I think we rushed into it. We were in love with the idea more than the actual [business part of it]. We couldn’t get ready for it. Hopefully in the future, we might work something out.”
While Usher may have gone with his other R&B peer Trey Songz, Chris doesn’t hold a grudge, but does admit that he and Ursh don’t have a close relationship. “It’s whatever, we cool. I’m cordial and that’s with everybody,” said Chris. “I don’t have friends in this industry. I have my circle and I have my people who’ve been with me through the bad times and the good times. Everybody else is just wallpaper.” After the recent success of “Deuces,” industry folk came calling, but Chris could see through their fakeness. “I wasn’t like bitter. Now I see you for you. Even the heavy New York City winds couldn’t dim the star power at Keep a Child Alive’s 7th Annual Black Ball at Hammerstein Ballroom on Thursday night (Sept. 30). The star-studded charity gala, which raised money for HIV/AIDS treatment, featured appearances and performances by Sade, Whitney Houston, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Usher, Swizz Beatz, Jennifer Hudson, Janelle Monáe, and more.
The belle of the ball, host Alicia Keys, lived out her dream by singing with Sade. “It was the most difficult thing I ever had to do in my life, to try to pick one song,” revealed the pregnant songstress, who finally decided upon “Love Is Stronger Than Pride.” “I lost sleep over it actually.”
Janelle Monáe gained new fans with her “Tightrope” walking and Swizz Beatz joined Jay-Z for “On to the Next One,” as his pretty in pink wife looked on. Alicia helped Jay cap the evening in their hometown by channeling Frank Sinatra with an impromptu performance of “New York, New York,” before closing with “Empire State of Mind.” I mean they don’t get any more original than this do they…? I’m really sorry, but we were all in one way or another waiting for this to happen! I’m sure if you got googling right now you’d find it without a doubt! Trey Songz is currently promoting his new album and will become the opening act for Usher‘s “OMG Tour”, like many people in the industry say “any PR is good PR”, maybe this little stunt may boost his album’s “Passion, Pleasure, Pain” poor album sales with this album being his worst opening week for any album in his career, with a disappointing 102,300 sales in the first week! The pink stage is set for Nicki Minaj’s VMA debut. The hip-hop hottie, wearing skintight pants and a cowboy hat, rehearsed in downtown Los Angeles for her first-ever televised solo performance at tonight’s pre-show. In addition to delivering a remix of her No. 1 rap song “Your Love,” she will be joined by will.i.am for their single “Check It Out.”
“She’s dope, she’s really nice,” the Black Eyed Peas leader told TheMoMoShow.com of his collaborator. “She loves music, she loves to express herself, and she’s a sick-ass lyricist.”
Even after topping the charts, B.o.B and Paramore’s Hayley Williams had never met—that is until now. The duo will finally perform their collaboration “Airplanes” for the very first time together at tonight’s festivities - because everyone knows that song is just going to be OVER played even more so!
B.o.B will accompany Bruno Mars and Hayley Williams for a three-song medley that includes “Nothin’ on You,” “Airplanes,” and Paramore’s “The Only Exception.” – Now that what I would call a VMA performance, that’s if this thing all goes right for them, well all know that Bruno Mars isn’t the greatest of all live performers!
