Nicki Minaj has fired Diddy from his position as her manager. The rapper reportedly broke the news in a press release today, stating that the media mogul did not give her the “guidance [that a] manager is supposed to give his client”, hence his dismissal and replacement with star-maker Benny Medina. The source follows;

“Young Money/Cash Money/Universal Motown breakout superstar Nicki Minaj has decided to dismiss rap mogul, Sean “P diddy Combs” as her music manager and has recently signed a new deal with mega-manager Benny Medina, whose current and past clients include Multi Grammy Award winning recording artist, Mariah Carey, Gwen Stefani, Brandy, and more.”

Of course Nicki Minaj did get her word in saying, “By now, everyone should now that I am really strict when it comes to my representation. I had sympathy for Sean however I feel as if I haven’t gotten the guidance the manager is supposed to give his client. Personally, I feel like I’m being managed by mother. Even if you play the smallest role on my team, I wish to see progress. I’d like to thank him for everything he has done for me; for taking me under his wing. I wish him the best with repping Rick [Ross]. But now that my album is about to drop, its time to get serious and stop playing games. If I could turn back time…I wouldn’t have made the decision to let Troy go.” – Wise words from the newly crowned Queen of hip-hop.

That’s right Destiny’s Child stars Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams were spotted en route to dinner here in London last night. Rowland is currently in town to promote her new single “Forever & A Day“, while Williams is starring in hit TV show “Strictly Come Dancing” – That’s right, she didn’t make it on “Dancing with the Stars” in the states!.

I cannot help, but wish Beyonce was in this photo, I mean there is room on the right of Michelle - but maybe this is all to prove a point? That everyone has got over Destiny’s Child and that both (more so Kelly Rowland‘s) careers are really begging to see some star light which both deserve.

Kelly Rowland also announced that her new “AS YET UNTITLED” album will be released in the UK on the 29th of November. The album will have two versions, one which will be made and mastered for her European fan base and another for her homeland America. Oddly, in the UK the new album will not be released by label Universal Motown, but through another reportedly distribution group. Is Kelly trying to play two rolls each side of the ocean? or she just simply lost between European pop and R&B!? With all her lead singles performing better on charts I’m sure everyone will be advising her to peruse her Euro-pop career  (more…)
