That’s right!!! This is a TheMoMoShow.com exclusive, this afternoon a link to the sex tape of Trey Songz and an unknown woman was delivered to our headquarters. And after much research into this we can confirm that Trey Songz is indeed staring in his home made video!

Although his record label representatives in the UK under Warner Brother told us this evening that “at this moment we are not willing to discuss this subject, this is a personal matter between himself (Trey) and his partner” – YEAH RIGHT! I’m really sorry, but we were all in one way or another waiting for this to happen! I’m sure if you got googling right now you’d find it without a doubt!  With Trey Songz walking out of three major endorsement deals including ones with Kodak, Rocawear and indeed cheap and friendly Target it’s already been suggested that Trey Songz will be removed from the Kodak endorsement! you never know he could of used a Kodak camera to film his little feature film! – Share the moment right?

Trey Songz is currently promoting his new album and will become the opening act for Usher‘s “OMG Tour”, like many people in the industry say “any PR is good PR”, maybe this little stunt may boost his album’s “Passion, Pleasure, Pain” poor album sales with this album being his worst opening week for any album in his career, with a disappointing 102,300 sales in the first week! A far cry from “Ready“‘s gold opening week…he just can’t help but wait! (more…)

The King was back on the red carpet at Trey Songz’ Passion, Pain & Pleasure release party presented by Target. The rapper, looking preppy in a collegiate cardigan and glasses, posed for photos with his labelmate and former NBA player Jalen Rose. VIP guests mingled on the sprawling rooftop of Ventanas in Atlanta as DJ Don Cannon provided the evening’s soundtrack. Usher’s new tourmate will wrap his headlining tour this week in New York.

Passion, Pain & Pleasure is the fourth studio album by American R&B singer Trey Songz, released on September 14, 2010. Production for the album took place during March to July 2010 and was handled by several record producers, including his mentor Troy Taylor, Bryan-Michael Cox, Stargate, and Mario Winans, among others. The album’s lead single, “Bottoms Up“, featuring Nicki Minaj, was released on July 27, 2010, while the second single, “Can’t Be Friends“, will be released in August 2010. Drake also makes an appearance on the album. Trey states that this will be his best album yet. This album is also being promoted via his Summer 2010 tour with Monica.

Let’s just hope this works out for him!!! Alot of pressure has been put on Mr. Songz to really push out on this album and to really show the world there is alot more to the heart throb of the R&B world – Personally, after listening to the Lp myself…not impressed!

Drake, Trey Songz, and Pitbull have a lot to smile about. The music trio has been tapped by Kodak to appear in the company’s “So Kodak” integrated marketing campaign.

The campaign, which launches in early October, draws on the brand’s unique position in pop culture to engage young, socially-connected consumers. It coincides with the introduction of the newest Kodak EasyShare digital cameras featuring Kodak’s exclusive Share Button, which allows consumers to share their pictures and videos with their social network.

As part of the initiatives, the three stars will be featured in a multi-platform advertising and marketing campaign designed to bring to life what it means to be “So Kodak,” a phrase used to describe things that are hot and worth talking about. The campaign will consist of a series of television spots helmed by music video director Chris Robinson, along with print and online advertising, exclusive events, social media engagement, and consumer promotions.

Chris Brown and Usher fans were in glee earlier this week when Bryan-Michael Cox announced that the duo were going on tour. However, even after Brown proposed to the idea on his Twitter, the plans for the show have been officially scrapped. There is no official word from either artist’s camp as to why the venture was canceled. Brown has since removed any messages referring to the tour from his Twitter page.

But according to Usher‘s camp, this is all just talk – for now, at least. “There are no plans at this time for Usher and Chris Brown to tour together,” reps for the 31-year-old singer said. Brown’s reps said ditto with the statement: “There is no confirmed Chris Brown and Usher tour at this time.”

Perhaps they’re just waiting to see how badly fans want it. Brown tweeted Wednesday, “Would you pay to see an Usher and Chris Brown concert/tour,” followed by, “RT #CBUSHERTOUR if u want it to happen.” Lo and behold, at the time of this posting, #cbushertour was a trending topic.

And now this is now why I’m sticking to my new quote of the year…”I’ll believe it when I see it”, although a Chris Brown and Usher tour would of been a done deal for world wide success it seems to me that those on Usher‘s side are getting a bit too greedy! I guess we’ll just be stuck with Rihanna and her squealing as the only alternative unless we go to Trey Songz’s sex show, ‘Passion, Pain, & Pleasure’. Trey Songz has said he is putting pressure on himself to make sure his new album is even better than his previous three.

The “I Invented Sex” singer said he wanted to continue building on his momentum with new album “Passion, Pain and Pleasure“, which is released next month,

“No matter how much you love the songs, I need something new,” he said, adding that R Kelly and Usher were his idols. ”This is a competition,” he said. “No matter how much I look up to Usher and R Kelly, it’s something we all want to be the best at. But I can’t control what they do. I have to outdo me.” And Trey seems to have a fan in fellow R&B musician Keri Hilson. The star said she wasn’t worried about Trey being a “one-CD hit wonder” because of his strong vocal ability paired with his physical appeal to his increasing female fan base.

“He won women’s hearts,” Keri said. “His music has always been great. But people are more aware of him now because of his sex appeal. That will help him move forward.”

Either way in addition to this pressure, Trey Songz‘ reality TV show may also be axed from air, After a somewhat promising start back in June, the show’s ratings have dropped to dismal depths – with this week’s episode bringing in an embarrassing 0.461 million viewers (this despite it being aired nationally – US). Trey Songz took part in a detailed discussion with The MoMo Show. During the interview the singer revealed why most of his newer material is based on sex rather than the artistic depth of his 1st 2 albums. Songz’s new album,”Passion, Pain & Pleasure“, hits stores on September 14th. Check out what he had to say below:

“The public likes generic more than they like to admit, so that’s what I gave them — I gave them sexual singles and they ate it up,” Songz says about the string of blatantly sexed-up hits from “Ready“. “I gave them two whole albums before this one — on one I talked about a mother’s love for her son and a father not being there, and on the other I made a song about safe sex. They were well accepted but not as much as the records on “Ready“. The singles were purposely very sexual to capture people’s attention.”. Trey Songz didn’t find it compromising to peddle sex to become a bigger star. In fact, he feels “Ready” wasn’t any more sexual than his previous albums.

“People say this album was highly sexual, but the first two albums were just as sexual,” he says. “If you listen to the ‘Ready’ album, there’s ”Love Lost”, ”Black Roses”, ”Yo Side of the Bed” – all songs that had nothing to do with sex, but were overlooked because they weren’t the first few singles.”

“I knew “I Invented Sex” was career-defining. After that leaked, the rough mix started playing on radio,” Songz says. “I prepared for “Say Aah“ to be a big record — I knew it would be huge. So when it came to shooting the video for “I Invented Sex” I split the budget for “Say Aah“. I think those steps were imperative to the success of this album.”

So in other words Songz decided to do anything it took to get a hit? While it is understandable that he wanted to take his music in a different direction and enjoy higher levels of success with “Ready“, he has to yet to explain why he has chosen to do the same with “Passion, Pain & Pleasure“. It seems that Songz either enjoys objectifying the bodies of women in his songs or he is afraid to return to the meager position in the industry that he once occupied as an artist of actual integrity. Well with no surprise, Drake told all his fans via his twitter that he’s started work on this new album…already, and may even release it at the end of this year!

Sources told us that the platinum selling rap star a month after releasing his debut album “Thank Me Later“, he’s is already working on the follow-up. He made the announcement to his fans during a late-night Twitter session.

Blame it on the alcohol or just a natural high, but the typically reserved Tweeter shared a little more than usual with his 800,000+ followers. “Started my new album last night too…ok I’m done…” he wrote. “Miss me video tmrw at 9am…tipsy…maybe? naaaaaaah….maybe tho.”

Drizzy also took the time to promote Trey Songz’ upcoming album ”Passion, Pain, & Pleasure“. “MY BROTHER TREY GOT THAT ALBUM I BEEN WAITING FOR!!! SEPTEMBER 14th…take my word for it!!!!!!!!” Trey gave his longtime Canadian pal a sneak peek at the project, whose first single “Bottoms Up” features Nicki Minaj. “I just heard Songz album in his whip in Atlanta while we were drinking Hennessy…shit felt like 07…I’m so proud!” he tweeted.

In addition to “Miss Me,” Drake will reunite with director Anthony Mandler to shoot a video for “Fancy” with T.I. and Swizz Beatz later this week. “Fancy” (a MoMo personal favourite off the album) will be released as the third single off the platinum certified album “Thank Me Later“. (more…)

Yes, so Mr West aka Kanye West, has just been told by Def Jam officials to push forward his new LP titled “Good Ass Job”, pulled from the original release date of September 21st, the LP release has now been placed with September 14th – the same day when Kid Cudi and Trey Songz will release their much anticipated albums.

Without a doubt this album battle will definitely see Trey Songz being hit first! his previous LP titled “Ready” saw poor sales and then a poor follow up of official singles which over all lead to the album’s promotion to be axed totally!

Even more so; Kid Cudi‘s fan base has seem to grown even further from the days of “Day and Night”! A lot if being expected from Kanye West on this new album, DJ Premier (who is in the studio with West) told us in an exclusive interview “Well, first of all, if you look at all of Kanye West‘s output, he actually did a lot to bring back sampling and make it cool again, even though he’s more of a mainstream artist…but his new album is strictly hard beats and rhyme. He’s totally done with electro. You’re gonna be surprised what you hear.”. Supported by that is the new “lead” single from the album “Power”, although very different from the standard Kanye West track it’s seemed to be having a good reception!

Also confirmed producers on the album have also lined up Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em; although very little information on the album is available the Def Jam HQ confirms it’s going to be a hit! – Let the battles begin!  (more…)

Bow Wow has spoken about his past struggles when it comes to landing magazine cover features.

The rapper has revealed that although things have improved for him, he is determined to appear on the cover of hip-hop’s biggest selling publication, XXL Magazine.

He wrote on his blog: “So today I’m shooting my cover for Murder Dog mag. I’m excited because I remember when it was hard for me to get covers on some of hip-hop magazines. It took a long time to get source cover, but eventually I did. If only i can get XXL, but that’s another story.” Well I’m not surprised, with no recent acting or music work fresh from Bow Wow, why would anyone want them on their front cover let alone get excited about him!

“I just say respect the work, and music. At the end of the day it’s all about politics. So all my fans be on the lookout for the cover.” – huh? So it’s clear that Bow Wow is admitting that he’s PR team are having a little issues and that it’s very clear now that the public has lost a lot of interest in him.

In other news Bow Wow confirmed to us that “Who Is Shad Moss?” is the upcoming seventh studio album by the rapper, slated for release in 2010. This should be interesting as the first album to be released under the Cash Money label. The new album is set to be a double CD release with it’s main producers of the likes of Jermaine Dupri.

To many lady’s dismay, (yes it is true) Trey Songz is engaged to Ethiopian beauty queen Helen (current Miss Ethiopia 2010 and backing dancer). This is the same girl that told Lil Wayne, “thanks but no thanks” when he tried to “holla”.  She told him she already had a man and that man is R&B star Trey Songz. Lil Wayne was shocked about the rejection and sources told us he said “I don’t even wanna put that man out there, that might not be his girlfriend, but in her mind she think she yours, dog, and she told me no for you, so you’s a G. And this wasn’t long ago, this was recently, I was the president, I had all that going for me, b*$#&h said NO! She sent me a picture of y’all and everything, like that new video from 50 and Ciara, that’s how y’all was.” – what ever that means!

Trey Songz spoke about being engaged to Helen, saying that “We met about two years ago. We started off just kicking it. She’s a dancer…We’d talk and chill. I didn’t see her much because when I met her, she was on the road with Omarion.” He then went on to say “Now she dances for Chris Brown. She was on the road dancing for Omarion and Marques Houston at the time. Eventually we would talk on the phone, ’cause my homeboy Pleasure, from Pretty Ricky, actually hooked us up.”

“Well, I’ll say he introduced us. From there, we went on that first tour together. I was on the Holiday Jam Scream Tour. She was on it too. We ain’t never really get a chance to kick it. She’d see me and she’d just kind of brush me off, but I’d be trying to holler at her. She’d see me with all different kinds of chicks and she wasn’t really feeling that.”

At times I find it hard to see Trey Songz with an ordinary girl, it just doesn’t seem like the girl he’d go for. Now that Trey Songz and Helen are engaged I do wonder if this will have an effect or his appeal or even music!? Further more so, when is the wedding!? One way of the other both will make beautiful children! Trey Songz is currently reading his live session album with MTV Unplugged.
