Omarion having a break down?
Feb 20th

Omarion was spotted at the VH1’s ‘Basketball Wives Red Carpet Charity Shopping Event in Beverly Hills, California yesterday. The singer was dressed unusually simple at the event compared to his more colourful fashion choices. But fashion is a the last thing on Omarion’s mind, after industry superiors laughed off his attempt of a come back with his previous album and the recent surfacing of the more than disappointing video to his effort with (I don’t even know what the single was called, that’s how bad it is) lead his own manager to say that “Trey Songz had saturated the market” – sources reported that Omarion is taking anti-depressant pills Read the rest of this entry »

First he chopped his braids off and now Trey Songz is shaving the side of his head, but only temporarily. The ladies’ man shared his latest look with his Twitter followers while on set of his “Love Faces” video in Miami this weekend.

Trey will kick off his “Love Faces” tour on February 11 with opening act Lloyd. The four-day trek will travel to New YorkCity, Washington, D.C., and Detroit, before wrapping on Valentine’s Day in Chicago.
I suppose this is the only thing of any interest that is going on with Trey Songz, after his failure of an album (of which’s title I cannot seem to recall) – pressure from his label forced him back into the studio.
Last year rumours broke out that Trey Songz was ready to leave Atlantic, however those where quickly dismissed. Trey Songz is set to hit the UK with his soul brother Ne-Yo, plans for any other album is yet to be confirmed, however close sources have told us a new LP is in discussion between his label and himself. Rihanna will release “Who’s That Chick”!
Nov 23rd
A curly-haired Rihanna floated above the audience during her opening performance at this year’s American Music Awards. The Bajan babe kicked off her medley with a snippet from her sequel to “Love the Way You Lie” before jumping off of her perch to sing her hit “What’s My Name?” Joined by backup dancers, the crimson-coiffed chanteuse switched her hips to the pop jam, taking it to the dance floor by closing the performance with “Only Girl (In the World).”
Nicki Minaj, along with Taio Cruz and Trey Songz, presented the American Music Award for Favorite Soul/R&B Female Artist to her friend Rihanna, who got a little touchy feely with the blonde Barbie.
“Don’t we all wish we could have green hair and make it look good like Nicki?” laughed RiRi before slapping her “Raining Men” collaborator on her famous ass. And TheMoMoShow.com are pleased to announce that “Who’s That Chick” produced by David Guetta is now available for download at iTunes and Amazon!
The decision was made between Island Def Jam and Roc Nation for a European release only. The new single will be released for radio on 28th November! So make sure you pre-order your copy…we’ve been waiting for this! Read the rest of this entry »
Chris Brown and Trey Songz ball at GQ event!
Oct 31st
Here come the men in black. A dapper Chris Brown and Trey Songz shared a laugh at GQ‘s Gentlemen’s Ball at The Edison Ballroom in NYC. Chris and Usher had talked about going on tour together, but due to promoter conflicts, Trey ultimately ended up as Ursh’s supporting act.
Which brings me to my next question about these two, where are there careers going? Trey Songz‘s recent LP “Passion, Pain and Pleasure” didn’t do so well on the billboard nor on the sales sheets? You would think to men like these would have a huge schedule but instead, they are being free’d up to do anything coming their way. Without a doubt I’m disappointed with Atlantic Records‘ approach to Trey’s album, there was NO promotion at all for the project – and they wonder why this LP hasn’t topped “Ready“?
And same for Chris Brown, you would of though that Jive would of tried to salvage his huge fan base instead of just releasing huge R&B records on a lower scale… it’s clear that if it wasn’t for their fan base they wouldn’t even got a budget for their project, let alone and album. Trey Songz is currently “trying” to promote his new single off the album titled “Can’t Be Friends” which is a mid-tempo contemporary ballad written by himself and Johnta Austin. Trey Songz talks about Usher’s “OMG Tour”
Oct 11th
Ladies get ready. Fresh off his headlining tour with Monica, Trey Songz is gearing up to hit the road with fellow R&B lothario Usher on his “OMG Tour” beginning November 10 at Seattle’s KeyArena. Before he took the stage at last week’s “So Kodak” concert (epic fail in my words!) with Drake,we captured a few moments with the “Bottoms Up” singer, who told us how the pairing came about and which of his tourmate’s tunes stay on repeat.
How did you link up with Usher? “Well, Usher and I first started collaborating work-wise on the “I Invented Sex (Remix),” but we’ve known each other for a while and he’s always been someone I could come to for advice. Furthermore, he’s paved the way for guys like myself to even do what we do. So to go on tour with Usher, who’s now at iconic status—I believe—and for me to be involved and to know that I mean something to the tour is an amazing feeling.”
What kind of influence has he had on your career? “Well Usher was one of the first young sex symbol kind of artists of my generation. It’s because of guys like him that I’m even able to do this.” What are your favorite Usher songs? “Nice & Slow,” some of the earlier Usher stuff, “You Make Me Wanna…” and “Burn.” He’s had hit after hit after hit after hit.
How is this going to be different from your last tour? You’re going from theaters to arenas and you’ve got me sharing the crowd with Usher. Different things go into the mind when preparing for the show. I’m sure the audience will be packed with ladies… Read the rest of this entry »
Chris Brown speaks out on Usher Tour and fake industry friends…
Oct 7th
The Internet lit up with reports of a possible joint tour between Usher and Chris Brown, but it never came to fruition. The “Deuces” singer is keeping it real, revealing why the tour didn’t go down and why he doesn’t keep many friends in the industry.
Breezy appeared on Angie Martinez’s Hot 97 radio show on Wednesday to discuss the cancelled outing. “We kinda had different views on the tour—no beef,” explained Chris. “We both have two different promoters, so whoever would get the tour would have to work it out and I think they didn’t see eye to eye. I think we rushed into it. We were in love with the idea more than the actual [business part of it]. We couldn’t get ready for it. Hopefully in the future, we might work something out.”
While Usher may have gone with his other R&B peer Trey Songz, Chris doesn’t hold a grudge, but does admit that he and Ursh don’t have a close relationship. “It’s whatever, we cool. I’m cordial and that’s with everybody,” said Chris. “I don’t have friends in this industry. I have my circle and I have my people who’ve been with me through the bad times and the good times. Everybody else is just wallpaper.” After the recent success of “Deuces,” industry folk came calling, but Chris could see through their fakeness. “I wasn’t like bitter. Now I see you for you. Get your money, do you. We can be cordial, we can be cool. Other than that, I don’t need to be your homie, like we don’t gotta go hang out.” Read the rest of this entry »
Drake and Trey Songz at their “So Kodak” launch
Oct 6th
Last night, Kodak celebrated the launch of its “So Kodak” campaign with a star-studded concert at New York City’s Best Buy Theater. The show, which attracted the likes of Keri Hilson, Busta Rhymes, Chrisette Michele, Shontelle, and DJ Khaled, boasted a double-bill performance from Drake and Trey Songz, who treated the invite-only crowd to short-yet-sweaty sets.
Trey Songz was first to grace the stage, backed by a full band who helped bring his sensual songs to life. Dressed in all-black-everything, Mr. Songz Yuuup looked sharp in a slim-fitting suit, unraveling his bow tie for the crowd-pleasing “Say Aah.”
He teased the ladies by removing his jacket for “Can’t Be Friends,” cozying up to the mic stand to perform “Love Faces” and “Bottoms Up” off his recently released fourth album Passion, Pain & Pleasure.
“‘So Kodak’ is the launch of something very special,” Trey told us before the show. “The line is around the block. I actually rode around like two times to look at the people without them seeing me. I’m excited about so many fans being here tonight.”
Hot 97’s DJ Enuff presented Drake’s “So Kodak” commercial before the rapper took the stage, with Drizzy explaining his love for the Kodak EasyShare M590 digital camera. The man of the hour emerged for his half-hour set, saluting the crowd as he bigged up Lil Wayne on his “9 A.M. in Dallas” freestyle. Read the rest of this entry »
