Nicki Minaj continued her European takeover, jetting from London to Paris for the next stop of her international Pink Friday promo tour. Arriving at Paris Gare du Nord terminal yesterday, the blonde bombshell caused commotion as she waltzed through the train station, looking fresh in a red coat and gray pants tucked into knee-high boots. She changed into black leggings with metallic gold heels for her appearance on French talk show “Le Grand Journal” and aninterview on Skyrock FM.

In a recent chat with RWD TV, Young Money’s First Lady spoke about meeting one of her idols Beyoncé. “Her name alone just defines greatness,” she gushed. “When I met her, she was a super sweetheart. The fact that she complimented me, I never forgot that. She was like, ‘You killed it,’ and I was like, ‘Huh?’ Here is someone who I admire so much just ’cause they’re so driven and she told me I killed it.”

Nicki Minaj’s European tour hasn’t exactly gone to plan, with one of her main club appearances cancelled due to “security” issues, it wasn’t long before Nicki Minaj was also kicked out of London’s “The Dorchester” (fifth home to Mariah Carey). Sources did say that this has been one of the most craziest promo tours Universal UK have dealt with. Nicki will need to wrap up the delayed tour quick as she is scheduled for SNL in the US.

When Usher chose a fan to serenade at one of his concerts, we bet he didn’t expect to get kicked in the face! But that’s exactly what happened when a fan got a bit to excited and tried to whip her leg over Usher.

With the footage caught on video, the fan who nearly knocked Usher out, must be under a rock, dying of embarrassment right this moment. However, Usher is seeing the funny side of things telling the fan through:“Wherever you are baby, don’t feel bad. No hard feelings.”

He continued: “In all my years, this is one of the most interesting experiences. I got a kick out of it! It looked worse than it actually was. My audience and I got a good laugh.”. Usher is expected to play in the UK this February to a sold out venue. Although fans where disappointed to find out that no further extra dates were added to the “OMG Tour” – that still won’t stop them from doing anything to get their kick out of Usher!

Well maybe Leona Lewis wants to get close to Miss Simmons to maybe leave Sony Music and join the ever growing Island Def Jam, and I mean this is of course supported by the fact that she revealed that she will not appear as a guest performer on this year’s X Factor.

Leona told fans the news during a live webchat via UStream yesterday evening. Leona said that she will not appear on the show this year so she can “fully concentrate” on her third studio album, which is slated for release in summer 2011. – Which may I remind you, there is no confirmation about who is managing this project! (Could this mean issues with her management?)

The star further confirmed that she has not been booked to appear on any “major shows” in the near future. (ouch!)

Later on “106 & Park” rolled out the pink carpet—literally—for Nicki Minaj. With an audience filled with pink-haired Barbz, the Harajuku Barbie took over the countdown show for special taping of “106 & Nicki” on Pink Friday‘s release day. Two of her fans got Barbie makeovers and Nicki even teared up when asked what moment she would remember for the rest of her life.

“I’ll always remember today because if anybody told me this was gonna happen in my life, I never would have predicted this ever—ever,” said an emotional Nicki. “If I mess up my eyeliner, I’m gonna choke you.” – Real classy!

She also performed “Roman’s Revenge” and “Right Thru Me.”. The video to “Roman’s Revenge” is expected to be shot in the coming weeks whilst Nicki continues with her “Pink Friday” promotional tour!

“Don’t think for a second I can’t do better,” he said of the follow-up to this year’s Thank Me Later, for which he has been working with Noah “40” Shebib, Boi-1da, and 9th Wonder. “For Take Care, I’m trying to find a way to make my raps shorter but catchier. I’m trying to condense my thoughts down to 16 bars. And it’s coming out more potent.”

Drake is set to hit the UK with his tour this February and with tickets already sold out an extended plan is being drawn up by Universal Motown to extend the tour to an arena standard and to then put on a show along side record label mates. – Now that is a show which would sell out quicker than you can say “Young Money“, maybe Drake and Nicki will couple up for the tour?

“I’ve never witnessed something so crazy as the crowd response to drake at tryst,” wrote Playboy Playmate Laura Croft. “Girls Next Door” star Holly Madison concurred, “Never seen anything like it.”

After celebrating Weezy’s homecoming in Miami, Drake will head home to Toronto to work on his second album and R&B mixtape It’s Never Enough.

In a new interview, Sade reveals that Jay–Z and other MCs have approached her about rapping over her beats or having her sing the hook on their records, but she has politely declined.

“I’m too scared,” she tells us. “They’ll find me out. It’s like The Wizard of Oz. They’ll find out there’s nothing there. As for collaborations, I’m collaborating with the band and do what we do. I see myself as a member of this band who does these songs that we write.”

If you’re one of the lucky few who does get a sample cleared, Sade says it won’t cost you much. “When it comes to sample clearances, I’m probably the cheapest chick in the west,” she muses.

Sade and her band will kick off the North American leg of their 50-city tour on June 16, starting at Baltimore’s 1st Mariner Arena. There is currently talk of extending her tour to play at smaller venues across Europe, and while the tour preps are under way, Sade has also been working away again on several other projects in the studio.

How did you link up with Usher? “Well, Usher and I first started collaborating work-wise on the “I Invented Sex (Remix),” but we’ve known each other for a while and he’s always been someone I could come to for advice. Furthermore, he’s paved the way for guys like myself to even do what we do. So to go on tour with Usher, who’s now at iconic status—I believe—and for me to be involved and to know that I mean something to the tour is an amazing feeling.”

What kind of influence has he had on your career? “Well Usher was one of the first young sex symbol kind of artists of my generation. It’s because of guys like him that I’m even able to do this.” What are your favorite Usher songs? “Nice & Slow,” some of the earlier Usher stuff, “You Make Me Wanna…” and “Burn.” He’s had hit after hit after hit after hit.

How is this going to be different from your last tour? You’re going from theaters to arenas and you’ve got me sharing the crowd with Usher. Different things go into the mind when preparing for the show. I’m sure the audience will be packed with ladies…

It was previously noted that the femme fatales had worked on a track called “Raining Men” for RiRi’s fifth album Loud, but the two might have something else up their sleeves. “Nicki Minaj, we did a song together called “Raining Men” and we might be working on her album together also,” the Bajan babe tells London’s 95.8 Capital FM.

She also shares what her boyfriend Matt Kemp thinks of the “fearless, bold, and expressive” Loud. “For the most part, he actually loves everything on the album but “Who’s That Chick“ he doesn’t really like that one,” she laughs. “I guess it’s too lightweight pop for him.”

However, the L.A. Dodger is a fan of the LP’s slower cuts. “He really likes the ballads on the album. Those are his favorite ones.”

Most of the tracks are uptempo except for two powerful ballads called “Scared of Beautiful” and her personal favorite “California King (Bed),” which she predicts will be the biggest song off the project. Rihanna hopes to go on tour again next year and is already thinking about a repackaging of Loud. – So brace yourselves for yet another Rihanna tour! It was also rumoured that Rihanna is working on her début fragrance to go alongside the Loud album – how original!

Breezy appeared on Angie Martinez’s Hot 97 radio show on Wednesday to discuss the cancelled outing. “We kinda had different views on the tour—no beef,” explained Chris. “We both have two different promoters, so whoever would get the tour would have to work it out and I think they didn’t see eye to eye. I think we rushed into it. We were in love with the idea more than the actual [business part of it]. We couldn’t get ready for it. Hopefully in the future, we might work something out.”

While Usher may have gone with his other R&B peer Trey Songz, Chris doesn’t hold a grudge, but does admit that he and Ursh don’t have a close relationship. “It’s whatever, we cool. I’m cordial and that’s with everybody,” said Chris. “I don’t have friends in this industry. I have my circle and I have my people who’ve been with me through the bad times and the good times. Everybody else is just wallpaper.” After the recent success of “Deuces,” industry folk came calling, but Chris could see through their fakeness. “I wasn’t like bitter. Now I see you for you. Get your money, do you. We can be cordial, we can be cool. Other than that, I don’t need to be your homie, like we don’t gotta go hang out.”

His experiences of the past year taught him who were his true friends. “I kinda just got a gauge of who was there and who wasn’t, so now I know who I can deal with. There’s people in my phone I’ll call and they’re my homies. I don’t need no more friends. Oh, you need me to do something for you? Holla at my manager.”

While he does maintain some industry relationships with those who supported him through his trying times, he has a message to the ones that weren’t there when he needed them most. “Kick some rocks.”
