I’m sure Christina Milian is not going to be happy with this! The fashionable duo of Ciara and The-Dream dressed for the cold weather while photographed on the streets of Manhattan over the weekend. CiCi let her ponytail hang down over a fur-trimmed coat while The-Dream covered himself up with a scarf and fedora. The hitmaker is executive producing Ciara’s fourth album Basic Instinct, which has been given a December 14 release date.
MySpace Music tagged along for a day in the life of Ciara, following her to a radio station, workout session, wardrobe fitting, and the studio with Tricky Stewart. Her adorable pups Tyson and Georgia also make cameos. Stick around until the end for some candid moments that will leave you laughing.
As odd as it may seem, I wouldn’t be too surprised if this is more than just an artist producer relationship – if you get my drift. We all know of The-Dream’s past and failings, so i’m sure now he’s just moving on to the next person her can grab. I hope Ciara, uses the common sense she has and stays as far away as possible from this guy! We all know The-Dream‘s music and producing talent has now finished and is expired, and so is his love life!!!

Christina Milian hit the runway to launch her new line of sunglasses, C. Milian Eyewear, during L.A. Fashion Week at Sunset Gower Studios in Hollywood. The million-dollar mami, showing little signs of her post-pregnancy weight, changed into a leopard-print leotard and thigh-high boots to perform her new track “Zipper,” helmed by her estranged husband The-Dream, and hit song “Dip It Low.”
With Christina Milian looking amazing, talks of her return to music are now become even hotter than before, proving to her LA crowd she can still perform despite her previous troubles, this girl still knows how to put on a show. What still may be needed to take into consideration the fails of her most recent project “Elope“.
With Christina Milian also being signed to ex-husbands label Radio Killa, this could spark further disputes between her and her management. As far as we know Christina and The-Dream do not talk so any talk between them regarding her music would be pretty minimum. – plans for the re-release of “Elope” are still in talks and is now been planned for a release during 2011, this will be Christina Milian’s first album in 5 years and the first since her “The Best Of” compilation album – Good luck Christina Milian, that’s all I have to say! Yes that’s right, Drake finally dropped another video from his amazing album “Thank Me Later“, although not one that we would of all exptected, “Miss Me” featuring Lil Wayne which debuted at #15 on the Billboard Hot 100 was directed by Anthony Mandler. – But hey we are not complaining! The video is pretty following the story of a dark even with Drake and Lil Wayne rapping in some field in the middle of some hill-billy state – yes, another low budget video (sigh). Maybe this has got to do with this whole “welcome back” concert for Lil Wayne? most likely I cannot find any other reason why Motown would decide to put this okay-ish track out after a great lead of singles!
This was a good video. However, I wonder why this track was chosen as the new single instead of ”Up All Night“, “Shut It Down” or the much awaited “Fancy“. Certainly Drake wanted to release a single featuring his mentor but the Minaj collaboration is a much stronger song never the less with growing hype for T.I that would of mixed well too – and the The-Dream track is a genuine great record!. Besides, with the hype surrounding Drake, Minaj and T.I. (not so for The-Dream) at the moment, it would have proven to be a guaranteed smash. O well. Life goes on. (more…)
Since her high profile split with The-Dream, Christina Milian has not been camera shy! Making a photo appearance everyday, she’s surely letting the world know she’s single and loving it!
After partying all night with Serena Williams, the baby mama (minus her wedding ring) headed to the Westfield Mall (for those in the UK, that’s just Westfields) , for some shopping with her mother Carmen. Christina Milian must have known the paps would be on her tail because she dressed up for the occasion, teetering in stiletto boots while pushing little Violet Nash in a stroller.
Or maybe of course this could be another day in the life of Christina Milian…I think not! But at the same time good for her! I’m glad she’s making the most out of this because really this is what Christina Milian really needs right now and with an expected album on the way she needs all the attention she can get.

Some people sure know how to turn their fans into haters! And The-Dream is just too good at that! Reports came in that The-Dream, who is currently trying to push failing project “Love King“ - did indeed divorce Christina Milian 9 days before she have birth! – Outch.
Needless to say while his album continues to struggle on the charts, The-Dream surely did take a further stride on the route of “Epic Fail” – the very fact that this was just so secret has really questioned the personality of The-Dream! Recently he stated that “no one appreciates” his work hence his departure from the recording industry and that in general this guy not right in the head!
The ”Single Ladies“ writer (irony?) had supposedly filed for divorce a mere 9 days before Christina Milian gave birth, however then continued to pretend that they we still married to ensure the album promotion scheme went on plan until it’s release.
Thus, without fail the Christina Milian fans came in their thousands then targeted The-Dream which resulted him to closing his twitter account - aw, could some not hack it? There is nothing much left for me to say apart from that The-Dream has a wack album out with no good singles, he’s going to be kicked off the Island Def Jam label anyways! (more…)
In response to the “publicity stunt” swirling controversy surrounding his marriage to Christina Milian, The-Dream has decided to break his silence and issue a statement regarding the situation via his official site. Mr. Nash has taken “full responsibility” for the situation and noted that his marriage to the singer had been “failing” for a while.
The-Dream said “First I want to thank God for the trials of life, without them we can’t know purpose! I would love to tell the truth as to why my relationship wasn’t successful, but today that is between me and Christina. Its easy to say that it’s because of another woman or a new relationship but truthfully, IT’S NOT. I take FULL RESPONSIBILITY for misleading everyone into thinking everything was fine and okay when we knew problems existed for awhile! I wanted to speak up but we decided it wasn’t for anyone to know. I would NEVER intentionally hurt a soul and everyone around me knows that! There was so much going on in me and Christina’s personal world that I tried to deal with it as delicately as I could and tried to regain my footing. Instead of being direct in order not to cause even more hurt or hurt someone’s feelings, I carried the weight in secret!
I am Human and people fall in and out of Love all the time… This is Life. Nothing’s promised or perfect, neither am I. I am not proud that I lost something we once had…LOVE! I’ve always been a Loving Father, Hard Worker, Generous, Stern and Eager to prove myself. My faults are I can be irresponsible and an ass sometimes, but I HAVE NEVER and WILL NEVER be a malicious person or wish harm to anyone, especially those I love or the mother of my child. I’m sorry for the embarrassment to everyone involved! If there’s anyone to blame and you can’t fathom this happening, please blame me and me alone for not being upfront! Even though we were trying to overcome personal things between us, I was just simply scared and embarrassed to let everyone know we WERE FAILING and HAVE NOW FAILED! This is not to justify anything, it’s true emotion! It’s a real thing that involves real people! I’ve cried about this for months, after interviews, after prayer and I’ve tried to take my own life at a point because of the failure that was looming. But I was reminded by my MOTHER that I am not “Superman” and its okay to lose sometimes…This too shall pass! And everything will be fine!” – I mean this brother just loves to go on and on! Yes, you guessed it! Speculation surrounding the relationship between The-Dream and Christina Milian is set to intensify after the hit-making producer was snapped ‘getting close’ with a mystery woman while holidaying in the Caribbean last week. The pictures come just one month after he strenuously denied that there was any issues in their marriage.
Interesting, even though with a child in the equation, these two look like they going to end it! – yawn, so now we all know why he named his album “Love King“. Of course Christina Milian did the next best thing, and tweeted her business to the world! Here are more exclusive shots of the new couple!

Despite executive producing Ciara’s forthcoming ‘Basic Instinct’ project, The Dream had some harsh words about the ‘Ride’ singer in a recent interview. The question pointed at super-star R&B/Pop producer The Dream was ” You’ve just finished writing Ciara’s entire new album too. Is this really her last shot at pop stardom?”
Before we all take a look at the answer, let just look at The Dream‘s career. He is currently working on his final album because he feels that no one appreciates music. All together he’s written 5 #1 hit singles yet till this date The Dream has failed to garner any #1 hit himself. He replied to the question saying “I think so. You only get so many times to, and I won’t say fail, but not achieve. There’s an expectation of where Ciara should be in her career. To others, she’s achieved but not to us, because we saw where her career was headed. But now she’s back on the horse. When she first came out I, like Lil Jon and Jazze Pha, understood exactly who she was. It was that whole Atlanta vibe because if i’m not Atlanta, no one is. I knew if I had a chance to get with her creatively, there’s a specific type of swagger that she’s got. Tricky and I did her whole album, but it’s not all shallow songs like “Ride.” There’s play time but there’s substance too, it’s a great listen.”

Like I keep saying; some people love to run away with their imaginations and come out with craziness like this. So before Rihanna goes on to insult Michael Jackson let me just clear things up…it will never happen!
Island Def Jam A&R sources told us “Rihanna is coming along incredibly. I’m trying to push her to where every song will be a hit from 1 to 12. I’m talking about NO album fillers. Our bar for this album is Michael Jackson’s Thriller. We got smashes from Stargate, Ester Dean, Mel & Mus and Rock City. We’re definitely going in with Ne-Yo, The-Dream and other writers and producers that have always been a part of her creative process since day one. She’s great to work with and very hands on with every song that’s being written and produced. She has visual concepts for just about every song. It’s already giving me the feel of a timeless album, and right now is her time” (hold on let me just compose myself…) What!? You know sometimes I do wonder what those people at Def Jam are smoking!?
This is no way that Rihanna is even ready (let alone have the ability) to push for an album matching something like Michael Jackson’s Thriller, legacy wise Rihanna is still miles away of becoming and artist like with the ability to create an album with that sort of legacy and success behind it. With “Rated R” only having 4 lead single for Rihanna; (a decline from the 7 from “Good Girl Gone Bad”); setting the bar too high could damage her career and confidence.
And (just bring out the facts here), “Good Girl Gone Bad” which shiped 1.6 million units of the album however in contract Rihanna‘s latest effort “Rated R” only managed to ship 1.1 million units of the album! SO! with all this data I can conclude with the trend rate “RiRi” is going for; this new big LP won’t even be certified platinum; not to mention Rihanna has failed to sell-out any of her European shows and now she’s gone and died her hair red in effort to support the “R” in “Rated R”. You know Rihanna; I used to like you…I really did, but every time I hear about you or see about the more i’m pushing myself to take your music off my iPod and to endorsing your albums! - but hey, only time will tell! T.I. defiantly shows us the animal instinct he’s got in this album! And yes rumours true T.I. and Lady Gaga will be releasing a track off the album “King Uncaged”. T.I. also told us that Eminem is set to make an appaerance on the LP too.
Sources told us that the Atlanta rapper says the song with Gaga is titled, “Lick It” while the tune with Eminem is confirmed but not yet recorded. “Phenomenal talent. Extremely proud [to work with her],” Tip said about Gaga. “She’s definitely that good. She knows what she’s doing. She knows exactly what she wants people to think and say. She does everything that she needs to be done to ensure it happens…We gonna go back in and record some more songs…But the one we have right now is entitled ‘Lick It.’ I think we both have a tendency to shock the world in a lot of different ways…[My Eminem collaboration] is in the making. It just hasn’t been recorded yet. The song has been picked out and it’s been agreed for us to do it. We’re thinking a song that can definitely make its way to the club.”
