With the Sugababes‘ ‘Sweet 7′ project in turmoil, the ladies are looking to their collaboration with rapper Sean Kingston ,’Miss Everything’, in a last ditch effort to revive the album’s sales. The song, as confirmed by Radio 1, will serve as the official next single from the record. Note! This decision was not made by the girls, as the were dropped – Roc Nation are using this as the final chance for the album to have some sort of activity (yeah, like that is really going to happen!).
In my opinion you are not going to get high record sales just because these girls have added Sean Kingston on a track – who knows, this may even effect Sean Kingston‘s career in a negative way! Either way theses girls are going no where, and like i previously stated they are a money eating black hole! Huge amounts of money went into the production of ‘Sweet 7′. Roc Nation have confirmed that all promotion by the label will be seized by April 2nd and will be removed from the company’s catalogue of albums.
This is very disappointing not only for the girls but for all other music individuals that put their time into this failing LP – RedOne, Pharrell and other music producers and song writers, this will come as a huge shock and for many this is the first time they’ve seen a huge project have very little or no commercial success. In other news Jay Z is planning to sign ex-member of the band Keisha Buchanan (hmm…).

Let me say this the most easiest way I possibly can…I TOLD YOU SO! I’m so happy for the people at Roc Nation who finally used their brains and ditched this money eating black hole!
Without a doubt, (even though there song where good!), this album was an epic fail! “Sweet 7” has even been lowered in retail price from £16.99 to £6.99 (ouch!). I suppose there was a number of things the girls got wrong, firstly the staggered release of the singles that always entered mid chart and then drop off! In addition people no long like them! They are way to commercially pushed!
Well i’m sure Keisha and Mutya are loving this! Lesson learnt – isn’t that right Mr Jigga Jay Z!

Mutya Buena called up the original line of the Sugababes to discuss for the former band members reunion to challenge the newly formed Sugababes. The singer is rumoured to have rung up Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy to suggest they give it another go, Buchanan made it very clear that she is very keen.
The Sugababes was formed when all of the girls were 16, and the band ever since has been changing it’s line-up. Most recent new line up has been heavily criticized with the re-brand the current Sugababes went through and with the most recent expel of Keisha - it has been said that the meaning of the Suagbabes changed and that the images was changed to fit the likes and exception of new label Roc Nation (Jay Z’s label).
If the original three were to stand up the challenge, it would clearly put the current Sugababes album set to be released titled “Sweet 7″ (produced by Stargate who have recently worked with Neyo, Rihanna, Beyonce and Mariah Carey). No official statement has been given from Amelle, Jade or Heidi. Talks are still on going with Island Records to take on the original group (so what are they gonna call themselves?).
It’s been said that the girls wan’t to return to the original look but “edge it up a little”, so taking elements of One Touch, so will they re produce the huge hits like “Freak Like Me” or “Round Round”?
