You all know I’m a huge Mariah Carey fan! But who are you trying to fool Mariah? So never the less Mariah Carey, who may or may not have a bun in the oven, received a royal welcome in Brazil. The curvaceous diva headlined the Festa Do Peão de Boiadeiros (Cowboy Festival) in Barretos, São Paulo, Brazil on Saturday (Aug. 21), performing a 15-song set that included “Dreamlover,” “My All,” “Obsessed,” and “I Want to Know What Love Is,” which was No. 1 in the country for a record-breaking 27 weeks. She changed multiple times from a black princess-like dress with matching tiara to a leather jacket and T-shirt that read, “If you like fun, you’ll love me.” – Typical of Mariah Carey.
A grateful Mimi thanked her Brazilian fans for their support following the show, fueling pregnancy rumors with her comment. “Thank you SO much 2 everybody in Brazil @ the show 2nite! So many familiar faces-Brazil you always show me love &I am so GRATEFUL!” she tweeted. “Seriously,I really do love it here, beautiful people inside and out! Tonite was tuff 4 me 4 personal reasons,but U got me thru!L4L.”- Indeed Mariah Carey fans rushed to in their millions to begin the campaign to find out what is going out! We where lucky enough to catch up with Mariah Carey’s other half…he spoke to us exclusively over the telephone earlier this month! The interview covers variety of topics ranging from his desire to be respected by his peers, to his constant battles with the media over his wife of two years, Mariah Carey.
(Q). Where or to whom do you turn when you’re confused or challenged? I turn to God more than anything, because prayer changes things. Other than that, my wife is my best friend, so we talk about any and everything… [it] always helps to have a companion that no matter what’s going on, you can always go to that person and share everything.
(Q.) Does the media attention ever interfere with the harmony at home? No, we don’t pay any attention to the media. Once we are in the confines of our home, all of that other stuff just goes out of the window.
(Q.) Is the age difference ever an issue in your relationship?
When it comes to the age difference, my wife and I don’t even pay attention to that. I think at some point, everyone obviously recognizes that there is an age difference, but it’s just like anybody else’s relationship. You don’t really think about how old your spouse is when you’re dealing with them every day. We’re both on the same page and we both have a youthful spirit. I’ve always been around people that were a lot older than me. All of my best friends are a lot older than me, and I’ve always been attracted to people that were a little more mature than myself.
(Q). Why do you think that the public is so eager to see you take on fatherhood? I actually appreciate people wanting me to be a father. I don’t think that people understand that we have our own lives, and that we are going to do it when we want to do it, instead of when they want us to do it. But I appreciate everyone being so eager about this process between me and my wife. (Q).As a married man, what advice would you give to guys on being faithful, and keeping the romance alive? Before you get married, get it all out of your system. Don’t do it until you’re ready, and make sure that the person that you’re with is worth your faithfulness and worth your time … then you won’t even have to think about doing anything because no one will be on your wife’s level. You’ll have so much love for that person that there’s no way that you can be tempted, you wouldn’t want to lose it. It’s a simple fact. If you’ve got a 1985 Nissan Sentra, when a Bentley drives by, you’re gonna want that Bentley. But if you didn’t settle, and you make sure that you’ve got your own Bentley, then you won’t even think about any other cars when they drive by.
(Q). By contrast, what advice would you give to women to keep men engaged in the relationship? If I had to give women advice – not that I know anything – but I would just say that you should strip away your man’s ego. You have to cater to who he is as a person, and understand that we’re emotional as well, and that [the] main emotion is ego. So if you can strip away that, then everything else will be good. Nick Cannon: “Mariah’s not pregnant!”

Nick Cannon has shut down all rumours that his wife and diva Mariah Carey are expecting their first child. For months there has been increased murmurings regarding whether Mariah Carey is with child. Though pregnancy speculation has long followed the 41 year old diva, it intensified after Carey abruptly pulled out of Tyler Perry’s star-studded movie ‘For Coloured Girls…’ days before filming was to commence – citing “medical reasons”.
Now, Carey’s husband of two years, Nick Cannon, appears to be shutting down such talk. Nick Cannon said “Mariah is not pregnant. The timing has to be right. But I can’t wait to be a dad!” – I’m sure this pretty disappointing news, after Mariah Carey has been trying to get pregnant for along time now, every since the release of her album “Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel” it was clear that MiMi was ready to become a mother! Although this must be sad news for the couple, Mariah Carey is currently working on her new album which is still scheduled for a lead single release this November.
It must be said, though; the media obsession with whether such and such is pregnant is rather insensitive at times. Granted baring children at a certain point in one’s life (particularly after marriage) is society’s “norm”, often ignored it seems is the possibility of it being potentially difficult for the Mariah Carey’s this world to conceive in the first instance. Mariah talks “Lollipop Bling”

Mariah Carey (who has been continuing to fuel her pregnancy rumours) has relieved one of her many new business ventures to come from the “Obsessed” diva!
Mariah Carey is to bring out a new perfume which is totally inspired by her husband, Nick Cannon. The singer says that Nick’s marriage proposal gave her the idea to create Lollipop Bling, which she is calling a ‘sweet’ fragrance.
I suppose this is another theme that MiMi has chosen to go down! From her album “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel” there were several tracks that followed this “pink yet lavender” theme such as “Candy Bling” and “Ribbon“. Well there is no stopping Mariah Carey! MiMi who is currently recording another album set to be her 20th, also is preparing for another compilation album titled “#1’s The 2nd Edition”; to fit in all those #1s MiMi got since 1999. Mariah Carey told us “The inspiration for Lollipop Bling was Nick’s marriage proposal to me. He first surprised me with a ring-pop – romantic, fun and young-at-heart – like me.”. I suppose we’ve just going to all have to get over it! Mariah Carey wont admit that she is 40 and a soon to be mum!
Notice how Mariah Carey has already has strings of successful business set up prior to this project, could this be sign that Mariah Carey may leave the music industry and turn to acting and her own range of products!? – Well like I said, this is Mariah Carey! Yes…Mariah Carey is pregnant!

Close sources have informed us that Mariah Carey is pregnant with her first child! Mariah Carey who turned 40 this year is finally having a family with husband Nick Cannon – something that both have tried to do for a very long time.
A source told us that both are “very excited and happy” – well of course! It’s been no secret that Mariah Carey has wanted to be a mother for a very long time now; despite given the chance for a long time Mariah Carey’s career had seemed to get ahead of her which put any time of even thinking about getting married; let alone having children aside! Mariah Carey said at the spirit award ”that something else very special is on the way” and only weeks ago did Mariah drop out a another film (Tyler Perry’s) due to “medical” issues!
So yes this Diva joins the likes of Alicia Keys who is also pregnant! Congratulations to Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon. Although no official statement from any reps we a;; known that Mariah had wanted to keep any pregnancy a secret as long as they can; the couple who also renewed their wedding vows in April also kept their wedding a big secret; it was not long ago when Nick Cannon had given Mariah Carey the wedding ring of any Diva’s dream. Mariah Carey undergoes fertility treatment

A source told us that Mariah Carey is no stranger in the tabloids when it comes to her oscillating weight. Though earlier before, word had it she was only packing some newlywed pounds, it’s now become obvious that she is getting heavier almost with each public outing. This is explained by the fact that she’s resumed fertility treatment! Everyone knows that Mariah Carey and “Dreamlover” Nick Cannon have always wanted to start a family – however due to Mariah’s recent album “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel” promotional tour had put any chance of them having a family on halt. Nick, who once said he’d get her pregnant tomorrow if he had his way; however increased pressures on both’s schedules meant through out 2009 Nick and Mariah didn’t see each other at all!
We learnt that “Mariah Carey has secretly resumed fertility treatments in a desperate bid to become a mother” they also told us that “She’s packed on a lot of weight, but it’s related to the fertility drugs she’s taking”. I hope Mariah Carey does get to have children; i’m sure she’ll be a great mother; and I’m sure her children will be great singers! Mariah Carey is currently also working on her next studio album which is as yet untitled and scheduled to be release in November 2010!

Mariah Carey and her husband, Nick Cannon, renewed their vows last evening. The songbird and the entertainment mogul got married for a 3rd time to commemorate their 2nd wedding anniversary at their Los Angeles mansion. The event was attended by close friends and family of the duo.
I’m glad Mariah Carey did go for the traditional look this time; I think that she’s finally started to embrace her age! But as per usual Nick Cannon showered Mariah Carey with yet another huge (and I mean larger than the last one!) pink yet lavender diamond ring.
Mariah Carey is currently working on another studio album after “Disappointing” sales of her previous album “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel” she’s got back into the studio in search of the inner “MiMi” with other plans for another compilation album titled “The Hits”; Mariah Carey got a busy year! Nick Cannon gifts diamond ring to Mariah Carey every year! (and i’m sure she’s worth it!). So with Nick Cannon (who recently revealed he doesn’t mind being called Mr Carey…eek!) and Mariah Carey will be renewing their wedding vows for the third time, apparently according to “Mr Carey” this happens every year (oh, that must get boring). Well “Mr Carey” sure loves Mariah Carey when he purchased her engagement ring back in 2008 during the release of MiMi’s #19 number one single “Touch My Body” – which is a reportedly estimated $2.2 million from exclusive jeweller Jacob & Co. Nick Cannon said “She is, to me, the most famous woman in the world. I knew [my life] was going to change, and I was up for it. Considering everything, I was like, ‘hey, it doesn’t matter.” He went on to say “The last two weddings we had were kind of island-driven and off in remote places. This time we’re going to do it home.” – I suppose this would come as a relief for Mariah Carey who didn’t even invite her mother to the secret wedding in 2008.
Further more Mariah Carey is currently working on her new album which is due for a November release, although slightly worried about how people may react to this album, I’m sure (as always) Mariah Carey will pull through (fingers crossed!). Recent photos have also may suggested that Mariah Carey has been putting on a little weight, yet again fuelling the pregnancy rumours! But this is typical MiMi, gain weight, have a bit of fun, spend money and then push out a successfully album and a #1 single (all in a year’s work!). Saying that, we’ve not heard a lot from diva Mariah Carey in a while but she did say “I might just have to hurry up and do it so the rumors can go away…my schedule is starting to calm down, you never know. In the next year or two the rumors might come true.”
Mariah Carey Pregnant?

Okay, so with diva Mariah Carey celebrating the end of her US tour “Angels Advocate Tour” and the release of her new remix album “Angel Advocate” (yes Mariah is using an “Angel” theme!) seems to have a lot to keep her happy.
Appearing at the Spirit Awards (where she picked up an award for best supporting actress for her latest film “Precious”), it’s safe to say that the days of Mariah’s “Glitter” acting have long gone, however in terms of her 2001 album “Glitter“, I feel that her half-baked remix album “Angels Advocate” will probably match the poor commercial success!
With all that said, It seems clear that Mariah is ready to leave Island Def Jam after her final LP “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel“. But Mariah only fuelled her pregnancy rumours at the Spirit Awards and Oscars by saying “something special” is about to happen and then reconfirming it by saying “There’s also something special on the way. I can’t say anymore.” – Not trying to be rude MiMi! we all kind of knew, hence why she was feeling sick during the tour, she cut songs out, she was always tired and she could fit into those dresses quite right…but we still love her! This could be a chance to build up her “come back”…? – I wonder what she is going to call it!?
Carey writes for Husband Cannon

A source told us that after he directed her new video for Up Out My Face, Mariah Carey has apparently lent husband Nick Cannon a helping hand – by writing songs for his new Nickelodeon TV movieSchool Gyrls. Cannon told TV Guide, “She’s all through it. Mariah actually helped me write the script and if you listen closely, she also sings backup in the last song.”The musical comedy is based on three freshmen, each with a totally different personality to one another, who all love to sing and dance. They meet at a girls’ boarding school and take on a group of mean pupils in a competition. Personally a good move, Mariah clearly enjoys working on the big screen! Read the rest of this entry »
