Rihanna wips out new hair!…again!

Rihanna wips out her hot hot hot new red hair! Long hair, don’t care. On the eve of her fifth album release, Rihanna showed off her long red locks while stepping out in midtown Manhattan. Carrying a Louis Vuitton cranberry tote and wearing a “F**k You” necklace, RiRi stormed the streets. She will perform today at 5 p.m. EST on MTV’s “The Seven.”
Plummeting temperatures have forced Rihanna to cover up in the streets of New York City, but that doesn’t mean the singer is ditching her signature edge.
This weekend, the “Rude Boy” singer was photographed accessorizing three different outfits with one very graphic necklace. The piece, modeled to look much like a traditional gold nameplate pendant, reads much like Lindsay Lohan’s middle finger did in court a few months ago. For those not in the know, this means it includes the F-word, used in the command form.
Rihanna even wore necklace while posing happily with a crew of underaged fans. Talk about mixed signals! In other news, the singer is sporting an interesting new hairstyle that looks an awful lot like a famous Disney princess’ ‘do.

Cee Lo Green rolls up in NY!

Cee Lo Green celebrated the release of his third solo album,The Lady Killer, this week with an energetic performance in front of an invite-only crowd at the W New York for W Hotels’ Symmetry Live Music Series.
The ever-smiling singer and producer took center stage while backed by a sultry all-female band. Cee Lo, decked out in a white king-style robe, dropped his outerwear to the floor like legendary singer James Brown minutes into the performance.
Cascaded in vibrant colorful lights, the Gnarls Barkley member, appearing in an all-white suit paired with shiny black diamonds, worked his lyrical magic. Cee Lo serenaded the crowd with soulful and funky hits like “Bright Lights Bigger City,” “Old Fashioned,” and “Satisfied.” Throughout the performance, music lovers gathered and danced to the welcoming, raspy sounds of Mr. Green’s voice. He capped off the night with the expletive-laden hit “F**k You,” which threw the audience into cheers.
As the night came to an end, the Goodie Mob frontman looked out toward his fans before exiting the stage, and left them with some kind parting words. “I’m a Lady Killer, right?” he asked. “Have some tequila! It’s on me.”

Christina Milian gets out her black little number!

Nearly nine months after giving birth to her first daughter Violet Nash, Christina Milian is looking better than ever. The sexy mama strutted her post-pregnant physique at the fifth anniversary celebration of TAO Las Vegas. Rocking longbrown hair and a body-hugging dress, the leggy star chatted with “Dancing with the Stars” cast member Karina Smirnoff. C. Mili will star in the made-for-TV movie Christmas Cupid, premiering December 12 on ABC Family.
You know what!? Yay! for Christina, i’m really glad she’s put the past behind and really has begun to make her presence felt back into the industry - people are starting to remember her again and love her! I mean without doubt people are sure asking for her when is she recording some new material.
So I would rush the new album, maybe relocated your management team and creative directors and then start pushing your return to music – great job! But lets, while we are here to just slate The-Dream, yes he has been eating a lot of pies and yes he can no longer fit on the screen! Ashanti attends Nelly’s album listening party…

Ashanti attended Nelly’s album listening party at the Griffin in New York City last evening. The singer, who has denied her rumourd relationship with the rapper, was all smiles as Nelly played tracks from “Nelly 5.0” (in stores on November 16th) for the audience.
Sources from the event told us former couple Ashanti and Nelly have fuelled rumors of a reconciliation after they were spotted enjoying a night out in New York together this week.
The pair split last year, but speculation about a reunion has been growing since they were seen together in August.
They have now intensified gossip about their relationship by appearing together at a private listening session for the rapper’s new album 5.0. in Manhattan on Tuesday evening. A source tells New York Post gossip column Page Six, “Ashanti sat by his side the entire night and smiled… They seemed to be enjoying each other.”…
Well to me, that is a yes! So that’s right you herd it hear first Ashanti and Nelly are back together! It’s official – I mean these two where a hot couple in the industry, I don’t see why it never worked out and with Ashanti having a lot more free time on her hands maybe it’s time to settle down? – by the way I’m trying to start of an engagement rumour, I’ll leave all that for you! B.o.B on the set of “Don’t Let Me Fall”…

B.o.B hit the floor on set of the video for “Don’t Let Me Fall,” the fourth single from his debut album The Adventures of Bobby Ray. The guitar-toting rapper lay on the sidewalk of downtown Denver facing the sky and moved mountains at the open-air Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The clip was directed by Ethan Lader, who he previously teamed up with for “Nothin’ on You.”.
With album just recently certifying Gold, there is no doubt this album will still be flying off the shelf – Much like the Hayley Williams-featured “Airplanes“, “Don’t Let Me Fall” features piano-laden, heavy bass beats, and B.o.B‘s flow about living a dream and not losing momentum. But, to add to his ethereal moment, “Don’t Let Me Fall” is accessorised with trickling synthesizers.
The Atlanta-based MC and producer, real name Bobby Ray, has already had two songs from the album reach the Top 5 of Billboard’s 100 chart, “Nothin’ on You” and “Airplanes“.
Of course we can all now see that as much as B.o.B. is a talented rapper and indeed songwriter, does this guy need a feature on every track for it to get radio play? – But in reverse, B.o.B is responsible for these new baby stars such as Bruno Mars. Read the rest of this entry »
Chris Brown announces new album title

Chris Brown got back in a pop state of mind with his club-friendly jam “Yeah 3x,” but that’s only the tip of the iceberg. C. Breezy took over the airwaves to announce his upcoming album title and update listeners on its progress.
“I’m putting out singles a lot right now, so everything’s coming together,” he revealed on Austin, Texas, radio station 102.3 The Beat. “But I’m definitely going to say this and plug it quick. The name of my album is F.A.M.E., so make sure you check it out.” (hmm sounds like RiRi’s LOUD!?)
The 21-year-old singer’s fourth album title stands for “Forgiving All My Enemies,” the acronym that he got tattooed on his arm this past July. He recently released a snippet of the DJ Frank E-produced “Yeah 3x,” which will be unveiled in full within the next week.
“I got a couple things coming to y’all in the future. I’ve got the new records coming out. I’ve got one called ‘Yeah 3x.’ It’s self-explanatory, you can probably hear it on YouTube right now, but we gon’ put it out to y’all in a couple more days or something like that,” he said. “Also, we got a record called ‘Calypso.’ I got a couple other things. So I’m trying to get everything together, figure out what I’mma do with the album.”

Omarion rocks it at fashion week!

In the sea of celebrities we saw during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week over the past few days, no one caught our eye quite like Omarion. The former B2K member showed off his bold style at various runway shows, including Gwen Stefani’s L.A.M.B. presentation where he knocked the socks off the couture crowd. O rarely left home without a bow tie and a pair of sunglasses (to shade him from the night sky, of course). Check out some of the one-of-a-kind looks Mr. Grandberry has been parading around in at Fashion Week.
Funny as it sounds looks like Omarion is finally getting the love he needed when he was pushing out an album, shame the project flopped! But maybe this might push Omarion to work on another piece of work that’s maybe not so much of a flop? – after all as far as I was concerned, I never herd of the album!
Omarion kicked off the week in combat boots, a black jumpsuit, and gold chain at the Y-3 spring 2011 show. The “Ice Box” singer tried to steal the spotlight from Us Weekly’s Most Stylish New Yorker Mary J. Blige with this red button-up shirt, bow tie, and briefcase. Khakis, a denim shirt, oxfords, and a Louis Vuitton belt—O, you fancy, huh? The night before the Gottex show, Omarion paired denim with denim at the grand opening of Lavo NYC. O no you didn’t. Trey Songz explains the “sexual direction” of his music

Trey Songz took part in a detailed discussion with The MoMo Show. During the interview the singer revealed why most of his newer material is based on sex rather than the artistic depth of his 1st 2 albums. Songz’s new album,”Passion, Pain & Pleasure“, hits stores on September 14th. Check out what he had to say below:
“The public likes generic more than they like to admit, so that’s what I gave them — I gave them sexual singles and they ate it up,” Songz says about the string of blatantly sexed-up hits from “Ready“. “I gave them two whole albums before this one — on one I talked about a mother’s love for her son and a father not being there, and on the other I made a song about safe sex. They were well accepted but not as much as the records on “Ready“. The singles were purposely very sexual to capture people’s attention.”. Trey Songz didn’t find it compromising to peddle sex to become a bigger star. In fact, he feels “Ready” wasn’t any more sexual than his previous albums.
“People say this album was highly sexual, but the first two albums were just as sexual,” he says. “If you listen to the ‘Ready’ album, there’s ”Love Lost”, ”Black Roses”, ”Yo Side of the Bed” – all songs that had nothing to do with sex, but were overlooked because they weren’t the first few singles.”
“I knew “I Invented Sex” was career-defining. After that leaked, the rough mix started playing on radio,” Songz says. “I prepared for “Say Aah“ to be a big record — I knew it would be huge. So when it came to shooting the video for “I Invented Sex” I split the budget for “Say Aah“. I think those steps were imperative to the success of this album.”
So in other words Songz decided to do anything it took to get a hit? While it is understandable that he wanted to take his music in a different direction and enjoy higher levels of success with “Ready“, he has to yet to explain why he has chosen to do the same with “Passion, Pain & Pleasure“. It seems that Songz either enjoys objectifying the bodies of women in his songs or he is afraid to return to the meager position in the industry that he once occupied as an artist of actual integrity. Mariah talks “Lollipop Bling”

Mariah Carey (who has been continuing to fuel her pregnancy rumours) has relieved one of her many new business ventures to come from the “Obsessed” diva!
Mariah Carey is to bring out a new perfume which is totally inspired by her husband, Nick Cannon. The singer says that Nick’s marriage proposal gave her the idea to create Lollipop Bling, which she is calling a ‘sweet’ fragrance.
I suppose this is another theme that MiMi has chosen to go down! From her album “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel” there were several tracks that followed this “pink yet lavender” theme such as “Candy Bling” and “Ribbon“. Well there is no stopping Mariah Carey! MiMi who is currently recording another album set to be her 20th, also is preparing for another compilation album titled “#1′s The 2nd Edition”; to fit in all those #1s MiMi got since 1999. Mariah Carey told us “The inspiration for Lollipop Bling was Nick’s marriage proposal to me. He first surprised me with a ring-pop – romantic, fun and young-at-heart – like me.”. I suppose we’ve just going to all have to get over it! Mariah Carey wont admit that she is 40 and a soon to be mum!
Notice how Mariah Carey has already has strings of successful business set up prior to this project, could this be sign that Mariah Carey may leave the music industry and turn to acting and her own range of products!? – Well like I said, this is Mariah Carey!
