You all know I’m a huge Mariah Carey fan! But who are you trying to fool Mariah? So never the less Mariah Carey, who may or may not have a bun in the oven, received a royal welcome in Brazil. The curvaceous diva headlined the Festa Do Peão de Boiadeiros (Cowboy Festival) in Barretos, São Paulo, Brazil on Saturday (Aug. 21), performing a 15-song set that included “Dreamlover,” “My All,” “Obsessed,” and “I Want to Know What Love Is,” which was No. 1 in the country for a record-breaking 27 weeks. She changed multiple times from a black princess-like dress with matching tiara to a leather jacket and T-shirt that read, “If you like fun, you’ll love me.” – Typical of Mariah Carey.
A grateful Mimi thanked her Brazilian fans for their support following the show, fueling pregnancy rumors with her comment. “Thank you SO much 2 everybody in Brazil @ the show 2nite! So many familiar faces-Brazil you always show me love &I am so GRATEFUL!” she tweeted. “Seriously,I really do love it here, beautiful people inside and out! Tonite was tuff 4 me 4 personal reasons,but U got me thru!L4L.”- Indeed Mariah Carey fans rushed to in their millions to begin the campaign to find out what is going out! We where lucky enough to catch up with Mariah Carey’s other half…he spoke to us exclusively over the telephone earlier this month! The interview covers variety of topics ranging from his desire to be respected by his peers, to his constant battles with the media over his wife of two years, Mariah Carey.
(Q). Where or to whom do you turn when you’re confused or challenged? I turn to God more than anything, because prayer changes things. Other than that, my wife is my best friend, so we talk about any and everything… [it] always helps to have a companion that no matter what’s going on, you can always go to that person and share everything.
(Q.) Does the media attention ever interfere with the harmony at home? No, we don’t pay any attention to the media. Once we are in the confines of our home, all of that other stuff just goes out of the window.
(Q.) Is the age difference ever an issue in your relationship?
When it comes to the age difference, my wife and I don’t even pay attention to that. I think at some point, everyone obviously recognizes that there is an age difference, but it’s just like anybody else’s relationship. You don’t really think about how old your spouse is when you’re dealing with them every day. We’re both on the same page and we both have a youthful spirit. I’ve always been around people that were a lot older than me. All of my best friends are a lot older than me, and I’ve always been attracted to people that were a little more mature than myself.
(Q). Why do you think that the public is so eager to see you take on fatherhood? I actually appreciate people wanting me to be a father. I don’t think that people understand that we have our own lives, and that we are going to do it when we want to do it, instead of when they want us to do it. But I appreciate everyone being so eager about this process between me and my wife. (Q).As a married man, what advice would you give to guys on being faithful, and keeping the romance alive? Before you get married, get it all out of your system. Don’t do it until you’re ready, and make sure that the person that you’re with is worth your faithfulness and worth your time … then you won’t even have to think about doing anything because no one will be on your wife’s level. You’ll have so much love for that person that there’s no way that you can be tempted, you wouldn’t want to lose it. It’s a simple fact. If you’ve got a 1985 Nissan Sentra, when a Bentley drives by, you’re gonna want that Bentley. But if you didn’t settle, and you make sure that you’ve got your own Bentley, then you won’t even think about any other cars when they drive by.
(Q). By contrast, what advice would you give to women to keep men engaged in the relationship? If I had to give women advice – not that I know anything – but I would just say that you should strip away your man’s ego. You have to cater to who he is as a person, and understand that we’re emotional as well, and that [the] main emotion is ego. So if you can strip away that, then everything else will be good. Jennifer Lopez “rejected” from Idol judging panel

Jennifer Lopez had been lined up to fill one of the empty seats on the ‘American Idol’ judging panel but those plans have been scrapped. It is being reported that former force on the music charts had too many “out of hand” demands and the Fox network simply “had enough”. This news comes on the heels of rumours that a diva with actual vocal talent, Mariah Carey, has her eye on one of the judging spots.
Clearly Lopez didn’t get the memo that her career is only two drips away from being flushed down the toilet. With her music failing to make a dent on the charts and a movie career that has become more stagnant than ever, Lopez needs capitalise on every available avenue if she wishes to remain relevant. In other words, stop acting like a diva and just be happy that you’re even invited to watch the show. I’m just so glad something finally hit Jennifer Lopez in the face!
I mean, it’s one thing to be dropped by your label, then to be stripped from all your endorsement deals and now to be rejected as a judge from a vanishing talent contest! – Girl! Who you fooling? It’s clear that Jennifer Lopez’s efforts are much needed in her acting career. I mean we all love some “Jenny from the black”, but Jenny packed her bags and moved out along time ago.
Jennifer Lopez is currently working on a new project with new label Island Def Jam (do not ask me why, they took her on! – epic fail right there, but then L.A.Reid is on his way out so who cares! right?) which is set for release later this year.
But just a thought, why is Jennifer Lopez not grabbing the attention of all her fans? – Where did all her fans go in the past 4 years? I mean when she released her new records, there wasn’t much love from her fans…Jennifer Lopez! no fans! “Louboutins” was an okay track and when the track failed with Jennifer Lopez it was handed to Brandy which climbed to mid 50s in the chart? – Just trying to figure out how J-Lo has managed to stir her career right to the ground…

That’s right, news just in that Mariah Carey’s album is finished according to producer Jermaine Dupri. Although a little shocking to see Mariah Carey push out yet another album since the mess of “Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel” this 41 year old diva has yet again out done herself. This “untitled” album would be Mariah Carey’s 25th album, and this could mean a potential 20th #1 single? – Maybe, with huge producers on the LP including the likes of Red One, Darkchild, The Neptunes and Star Gate this is set to be the “Emancipation of MiMi” killer! Sources says that features will include Drake, Nicki Minaj, Phrarell, Mary J Blige, T.I and Jay Z (and many other unconfirmed acts as well!).
As much as i’m happy for Mariah Carey, this is way too early for MiMi to push out yet another 19 track album for her fans, I mean we all love Mariah Carey – but she already having two new compilation albums out and not to forget her extended line of fragrances. Seriously MiMi, isn’t that enough? Even though good friend Jermaine Dupri is going round saying it’s complete doesn’t mean that this project is anywhere near it’s release, although Jermaine Dupri and Mariah Carey promised a lead single by November. Nick Cannon: “Mariah’s not pregnant!”

Nick Cannon has shut down all rumours that his wife and diva Mariah Carey are expecting their first child. For months there has been increased murmurings regarding whether Mariah Carey is with child. Though pregnancy speculation has long followed the 41 year old diva, it intensified after Carey abruptly pulled out of Tyler Perry’s star-studded movie ‘For Coloured Girls…’ days before filming was to commence – citing “medical reasons”.
Now, Carey’s husband of two years, Nick Cannon, appears to be shutting down such talk. Nick Cannon said “Mariah is not pregnant. The timing has to be right. But I can’t wait to be a dad!” – I’m sure this pretty disappointing news, after Mariah Carey has been trying to get pregnant for along time now, every since the release of her album “Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel” it was clear that MiMi was ready to become a mother! Although this must be sad news for the couple, Mariah Carey is currently working on her new album which is still scheduled for a lead single release this November.
It must be said, though; the media obsession with whether such and such is pregnant is rather insensitive at times. Granted baring children at a certain point in one’s life (particularly after marriage) is society’s “norm”, often ignored it seems is the possibility of it being potentially difficult for the Mariah Carey’s this world to conceive in the first instance. Nicki Minaj tones down the sexiness

Nicki Minaj may ooze sex appeal, but the hip-hop honey is making a conscious effort to take it down a notch.
“I made a conscious decision to try to tone down the sexiness,” she went on to say “I want people; especially young girls—to know that in life, nothing is going to be based on sex appeal. You’ve got to have something else to go with that.”
While she strives to be a role model, she also embraces her individuality. “I don’t mind being called a weirdo,” shares the “Your Love” rapper. “There are a lot of people in hip-hop who are probably never going to get what I do. But, by just being myself, I end up touching a lot more people who might never have paid much attention to a female rapper.”
We all know Nicki Minaj has worked with Usher, Ludacris, Robin Thicke, and Lil Wayne, but she’s still in awe of her collaboration with a pop diva. “Not only did we do a song together, but I was in a video with Mariah Carey! I still haven’t gotten over that!” – All in all I’m not too sure how Nicki Minaj’s will respond to this! Surely isn’t Nicki Minaj a fun stage name that she puts on and works her stuff and then she just leaves her on the stage!?

Bow Wow struggles to land front covers

Bow Wow has spoken about his past struggles when it comes to landing magazine cover features.
The rapper has revealed that although things have improved for him, he is determined to appear on the cover of hip-hop’s biggest selling publication, XXL Magazine.
He wrote on his blog: “So today I’m shooting my cover for Murder Dog mag. I’m excited because I remember when it was hard for me to get covers on some of hip-hop magazines. It took a long time to get source cover, but eventually I did. If only i can get XXL, but that’s another story.” Well I’m not surprised, with no recent acting or music work fresh from Bow Wow, why would anyone want them on their front cover let alone get excited about him!
“I just say respect the work, and music. At the end of the day it’s all about politics. So all my fans be on the lookout for the cover.” – huh? So it’s clear that Bow Wow is admitting that he’s PR team are having a little issues and that it’s very clear now that the public has lost a lot of interest in him.
In other news Bow Wow confirmed to us that “Who Is Shad Moss?” is the upcoming seventh studio album by the rapper, slated for release in 2010. This should be interesting as the first album to be released under the Cash Money label. The new album is set to be a double CD release with it’s main producers of the likes of Jermaine Dupri.

Mariah talks “Lollipop Bling”

Mariah Carey (who has been continuing to fuel her pregnancy rumours) has relieved one of her many new business ventures to come from the “Obsessed” diva!
Mariah Carey is to bring out a new perfume which is totally inspired by her husband, Nick Cannon. The singer says that Nick’s marriage proposal gave her the idea to create Lollipop Bling, which she is calling a ‘sweet’ fragrance.
I suppose this is another theme that MiMi has chosen to go down! From her album “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel” there were several tracks that followed this “pink yet lavender” theme such as “Candy Bling” and “Ribbon“. Well there is no stopping Mariah Carey! MiMi who is currently recording another album set to be her 20th, also is preparing for another compilation album titled “#1’s The 2nd Edition”; to fit in all those #1s MiMi got since 1999. Mariah Carey told us “The inspiration for Lollipop Bling was Nick’s marriage proposal to me. He first surprised me with a ring-pop – romantic, fun and young-at-heart – like me.”. I suppose we’ve just going to all have to get over it! Mariah Carey wont admit that she is 40 and a soon to be mum!
Notice how Mariah Carey has already has strings of successful business set up prior to this project, could this be sign that Mariah Carey may leave the music industry and turn to acting and her own range of products!? – Well like I said, this is Mariah Carey! Nicki Minaj talks about her music & sex tape!

“Bad Bitch” Nicki Minaj, who recently has changed management to the more experienced P.Diddy has finally opened up about recent exposure to her new music and now more importantly her sex tape!
In a recent interview P.Diddy told us ”Nicki Minaj, she’s definitely one of the great ones. She has a long way to go, but you know how we recognized LeBron [James] was a great one, Tiger [Woods] was a great one, and Kobe [Bryant] was a great one? Nicki is up there. Her story has just begun.” Indeed it has, with Nicki Mina’s debut album to hit stores this October. Nicki Mina has also recently featured on more commercial hits such as “My Chick Bad” with Ludacris, “Lil Freak” with Usher and “Up Out My Face” with Mariah Carey; alongside her own début single “Massive Attack“.
Nicki Minaj sex tape which surfaced only days ago is already set to fetch $1,000,000! Nicki Minaj told us ”I don’t know where I fit in the spectrum of rap yet … people thought I was more of a sex symbol or wannabe sex symbol…I’m trying to entertain, and entertaining is more than exuding sex appeal. I don’t think that’s fun. I don’t find it fun watching someone trying to be sexy. It’s wack.”

Yes…Mariah Carey is pregnant!

Close sources have informed us that Mariah Carey is pregnant with her first child! Mariah Carey who turned 40 this year is finally having a family with husband Nick Cannon – something that both have tried to do for a very long time.
A source told us that both are “very excited and happy” – well of course! It’s been no secret that Mariah Carey has wanted to be a mother for a very long time now; despite given the chance for a long time Mariah Carey’s career had seemed to get ahead of her which put any time of even thinking about getting married; let alone having children aside! Mariah Carey said at the spirit award ”that something else very special is on the way” and only weeks ago did Mariah drop out a another film (Tyler Perry’s) due to “medical” issues!
So yes this Diva joins the likes of Alicia Keys who is also pregnant! Congratulations to Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon. Although no official statement from any reps we a;; known that Mariah had wanted to keep any pregnancy a secret as long as they can; the couple who also renewed their wedding vows in April also kept their wedding a big secret; it was not long ago when Nick Cannon had given Mariah Carey the wedding ring of any Diva’s dream.
