Trey Songz has said he is putting pressure on himself to make sure his new album is even better than his previous three.

The “I Invented Sex” singer said he wanted to continue building on his momentum with new album “Passion, Pain and Pleasure“, which is released next month,

“No matter how much you love the songs, I need something new,” he said, adding that R Kelly and Usher were his idols. ”This is a competition,” he said. “No matter how much I look up to Usher and R Kelly, it’s something we all want to be the best at. But I can’t control what they do. I have to outdo me.” And Trey seems to have a fan in fellow R&B musician Keri Hilson. The star said she wasn’t worried about Trey being a “one-CD hit wonder” because of his strong vocal ability paired with his physical appeal to his increasing female fan base.

“He won women’s hearts,” Keri said. “His music has always been great. But people are more aware of him now because of his sex appeal. That will help him move forward.”

Either way in addition to this pressure, Trey Songz‘ reality TV show may also be axed from air, After a somewhat promising start back in June, the show’s ratings have dropped to dismal depths – with this week’s episode bringing in an embarrassing 0.461 million viewers (this despite it being aired nationally – US). Keri Hilson has talked about writing big hits for artists such as Britney Spears and Omarion and not keeping them for herself, but she doesn’t care as it made her a lot of money. She told us: “No, its money in the bank. That’s my means of living. There’s two sides of me, and neither takes preference. One is just a dream that I fought long and hard for. Songwriting was my Plan B. My whole life, I’ve fought to just do this. I didn’t know that I’d be able to take off as far, or as fast, as I did, but I knew I had a talent and that I should pursue it, because there’s money in it. When I wasn’t able to perform, and lost the record deal, I took the path of Plan B, and now I love them equally.

“I can’t have one without the other. Even at my biggest, I want to be writing for other artists. Even at my peak, the highest I can be as an artist, I always want to be keeping my creative juices flowing, keeping money in the bank, putting my intellectual property out there.” Even so, Keri Hilson hasn’t yet got a hit without the help of a duo or feature of the track! For example Ne-Yo/Kanye West and not forgetting Timbaland! I think what she was trying to say is, She don’t care if the next album flops, she making enough money through song writing, she don’t care! She got money in the bank! A little disappointed with Keri Hilson, I really thought tracks like “Energy” and “I like”  could of done well, maybe it’s Keri Hilson‘s management not placing her right within her market? T.I. defiantly shows us the animal instinct he’s got in this album! And yes rumours true T.I. and Lady Gaga will be releasing a track off the album “King Uncaged”. T.I. also told us that Eminem is set to make an appaerance on the LP too.

Sources told us that the Atlanta rapper says the song with Gaga is titled, “Lick It” while the tune with Eminem is confirmed but not yet recorded. “Phenomenal talent. Extremely proud [to work with her],” Tip said about Gaga. “She’s definitely that good. She knows what she’s doing. She knows exactly what she wants people to think and say. She does everything that she needs to be done to ensure it happens…We gonna go back in and record some more songs…But the one we have right now is entitled ‘Lick It.’ I think we both have a tendency to shock the world in a lot of different ways…[My Eminem collaboration] is in the making. It just hasn’t been recorded yet. The song has been picked out and it’s been agreed for us to do it. We’re thinking a song that can definitely make its way to the club.”

Yes, you read it right! It appears that T.I. wont be marrying his longtime girlfriend Tiny, instead hes been hooking up with Hoopz from MTV’s “Flavor Of Love”. (meh! – real classy move, real classy!).

An insider claims that T.I. has put all plans on the back-burner while he gets his career back on track. And that ain’t the only thing that T.I. is getting back on track. It appears that he’s started up again with his longtime “JUMPOFF” Hoopz (from Flavor Of Love). According to one source who works at Mo’Nique’s talk show on BET, Hoopz was T.I.‘s ”special guest” to the taping.

As far as I was concerned, I though things was good in the hood with  T.I. and  Tiny! In all fairness, those girls off “Flavour Of Love” – well if you wan’t a girl screaming “and when it comes down to my mother!?, with your wack ass mamma she working motherfucking three jobs, you mother fucking bitchass faked up shit!”. But hey, I don’t judge that’s his business!

All in all T.I.‘s new album “King Uncaged” which is set to be his seventh studio album will be released on August 17, 2010. With this being one of T.I.‘s most anticipated albums yet; with more drama unavailing itself around the project; with the loss of T.I.‘s close friends during  an attempt on T.I.‘s life! “We’re just getting into this,…But we already have an idea of what we want to do. This album will continue the evolution of Keri, building off the hits ‘Knock You Down’ and ‘Turning Me On’,which helped define her. This new album will be Turning You On’ times 10 – says Miss Keri Baby who hopes to push this LP (yes i love using my new word “LP”) by March.

After releasing two albums during 2009, “In a Perfect World” – her commercial album and “Ms Keri” which was an unofficial album (a mixtape to be exact)that featured rare recordings and mixes on the LP, Keri has made it clear she wan’t to push out another disc for the new year. I’m very excited for this one…lets hope she isn’t “gassin’” us up!

Jordin Sparks is celebrating her success of her second studio album and more importantly the entire Ms. Sparks re-brand. “S.O.S (Let the Music Play)” is the second release from highly successful album “Battlefield” (the first being Battlefield), what seems to shock everyone with Jordin’s new album is the amount of weight she managed she lost from 2008.

Ms. Sparks has seem to go for the “sexy” look in room temperature video “S.O.S”, (no where near the Pop ballad “Battlefield”). Although i miss the days of “One Step at a Time”, “No Air” and “Tattoo” she seems to stick with the same old teen-aged audience all the time (has she ever thought those little girls will grow up?). So lets get back the point…does the new look suit her? Yes! as does it suit Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Keri Hilson, Kelly Rowland, Ashanti and Christina Millian - basically it’s been done before!

It seems like every female pop artist goes through the long lose curls, the short dresses and striking make-up, and for some odd reason we all fall for it! We’ll this time i’m not, sorry Jordin looks like you gotta fight a lot longer on this battlefield.

Latin superstar jenny from the block, announced her stage name to change from J-Lo to Lola (yes, I’m thinking the same thing!), is this a desperate attempt to save her pop career?

The Neptunes produced track featuring Pitball “Fresh out the oven”, in some cases is fresh out the oven and straight in the bin! With J-lo come Lola attempting to sound like rising R&B superstar Keri Hilson, it is clear it is not her style!

Following the poor record sales of her recent album “Brave” released in 2007, newly named Lola took a break from the music industry in 2008, and after her over publicised “return” to the pop industry for 2009 Jenny failed successfully. Of course love don’t cost a thing when clothing and fragrance sales do add into Lola’s budget for new album “untilled” set to hit the music stores in 2010.

But, it hasn’t always been easy for Lola since the late 90s she’s been competing with acts such as Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Britney and Ashanti. I do miss the days of the LL Cool J and Ja Rule collaborations, and Ms Lopez sinning “ain’t it funny” over Craig Mack’s sample of “Flava in you ear”.

So as Lola (I’ll never get used to Lola!) say “don’t be fooled by the rocks that I got…I’m still, I’m still jenny from the block” and as for Lola ft. Pitball “Fresh out the oven” I’m certainly not reaching for my kitchen mitts!
