Chris Brown releases “F.A.M.E” track-list…
Feb 22nd

Yaay! Chris Brown just unveiled the official tracklist of his highly-anticipated “F.A.M.E” album. The record will hit stores on March 22nd and includes collaborations with Tyga, Lil Wayne, Busta Rhymes, Justin Bieber, Ludacris and others and Rihanna! (LOL just kidding!). In all honestly I really hope this album does so much for him, after all Chris Brown does deserve it! Even though I am very disappointed with the shameful album cover, I mean it is what it is. Ciara wants to be dropped by Jive?
Feb 14th

Shooting back at rumors that Jive Records had dropped Ciara from its roster, the R&B princess is telling her side of the story. In a Facebook post on her page, CiCi tells her fans that she has asked to be released from her contract with Jive after they failed to give her control over decisions regarding her past two albums. She explains that with herlatest single “Gimmie That,” the label tried to prevent the track from getting play on the radio and that she had to fund its promotion out of her own pocket. JLS new album details
Apr 17th
MoMo’s exclusive sources from Sony Music has informed us that Jive Records after their intense arena tour JLS will be then pushed to release a new album for late 2010 or even in the first quarter of 2011 (oh…joy!). In fairness it would be nice to see what major pop label Jive do to these boys, everyone knows that UK acts have always struggled in US markets (Jay Sean dropped from Cash Money, Alexandra Burke‘s shelved from shipping to the states), although there is a gap in the market for the boys it’s essential that JLS work on what type of boy band they want to be.
Needless to day JLS‘s début album was pretty much 13 tracks of mid-tempo same old pop crossover R&B. If there is one thing is for sure they guys will not be transferred to legends like Boys II Men, Jagged Edge or Dru Hill – however the vocal potential is there however I’m still trying to get my head around why JLS has been restricted to use there vocal talents in any of there singles. With new album under development and edging toward production from June; huge producers such as Darkchild (who’s worked with the likes of Mariah Carey, Destiny’s Child, Britney Spears, J Holiday, Janet Jackson and Lady Gaga) have been called in to work on the album along side boyband superstar Justin Timberlake.
We are currently waiting for a further release date, and possible track list; it’s been official that JLS will be covering a huge soul ballad. For more info keep it MoMo.
Rihanna – it’s all over!
Dec 19th
With Rihanna’s latest album “Rated R” only dropping out of the top 20 within a week of released, i think everyone knows that Rihanna flopped – but who is to blame?
Is it Chris, Her Stylist, LA Reid or Good Girl Gone Bad herself!? Even after her X-Factor appearance (which I didn’t like), Rihanna is still failing to connect with us! It’s a shame with Def Jam splashing huge amounts of cash into the promotion of the this album it’s only moving down about 5 places each week on the Billboard charts. In regards to Rihanna’s new look, it never got a good reception in a recent poll about 78% of people preferred Rihanna in the days of Umbrella and then a further 81% said her hair was an attempt to copy Keri Hilson (who’s share in the R&B market seems to be growing!).
With huge efforts to pushing her new single off the “Rated R” album “Hard”. The video was only released a matter of days ago, and play demand on the radio and television networks are at an all time low for Rihanna. This is not in huge contrast to ex-boyfriend and former woman beater Chris Brown, who’s albums are being sent back from record stores despite and official apology from himself and a huge push from Jive records, it’s hard to tell who’s career will come on top.
Chris Brown Gets Dumped…By Timbaland!?
Nov 24th
So, here is another shocker! With X-Girlfriend’s album “Rated R” doing well, Chris Brown had some more heartbreaking news. Chris Brown was cut from a Timbaland track off his new album Shock Value II.
Chris Brown was meant to lead vocals on Timbaland’s “The One I Love,” but he was cut from the song due to “drama” surrounding him following “Chrianna” (as some people call it!?).
Marcus Spence, Timbaland’s manager, says that the decision to drop Brown was a Musical reason (sure!). According to Spence, it was a “creative decision for both parties…there’s nothing against Chris. We love Chris.” Both Brown and Timbaland’s albums are set to be released Dec. 8 (have fun! so the Diva’s fights are over! Bring it on Divos!).
All that aside Brown promotion behind the album seems to be at an all minimum, with his release date approaching no set promotional tours or any press dates have been confirmed from Jive Records. Jive has been criticized with their choice of date of “Graffiti”‘s release, the album will drop on the same day as 50 Cent’s and Timbaland’s; a few days after Alicia Keys.
No one quite knows how the new album will do, with “Transform Ya” peaking at 45 on the Billboard charts, there no idea where the album will peak at.
