DJ Khaled, after failing his attempted diet decided to hit the studios, says sources. The Cash Money/Def Jam South star recently said on his twitter he is ready to unleash a new LP. DJ Khaled recently spoke with to us about his upcoming debut album on Cash Money Records We the Best Forever. The producer and DJ said that he has brought in a few of his Cash Money compatriots for his fifth LP, most notably Young Money stars Drake and Nicki Minaj. Khaled also revealed that G.O.O.D. Music head honcho Kanye West will make an appearance on the album.“I definitely will have Drake on my album, definitely will have Nicki Minaj on there,” he said. “I got something special I’m working with the team. You’re going to have all your favorite artists on there. Me collaborating with Cash Money – making amazing records and coming out with amazing songs. We’re going to give you a classic now. I can tell you I was in the studio the other day with Kanye West. I don’t want to give away too much information out there but know I’m working!”

Rihanna was one of the many superstar acts who in the audience at the NBA All-Star Game last evening. Other notable names at the event included Beyonce, Jay-Z, Drake, Keri Hilson and Kanye West. Birthday girl Rihanna, who turned 23, provided the halftime entertainment at Sunday’s NBA All-Star Game at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. A stunning RiRi performed a medley of her hits including “Umbrella,” “Only Girl (In the World),” and “Rude Boy,” bringing out surprise guests Drake and Kanye West for “What’s My Name?” and “All of the Lights.” 

The biggest names in showbiz and sports collided at Jay-Z and LeBron James’ 5th Annual Two Kings Dinner and After-Party presented by Bing in Los Angeles this week. The most exclusive event of NBA All-Star Weekend attracted Rihanna, Drake, Dwyane Wade, Melanie Fiona, J. Cole, Young Jeezy, and a non-photographed Beyoncé and Kanye West, who dined at upscale eatery Craft as DJs D-Nice and Mick Boogie provided the evening’s soundtrack.

The festivities continued over at the Creative Artists Agency (CAA) building, where the glitterati were joined by Ciara, Jamie Foxx, Brandy, John Legend, and Amber Rose, who partied until the early hours of Sunday morning.

With the Minaj and Kim beef at it’s peak, The Young Money crew - Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Lil Wayne were a triple threat at IMP Entertainment and Steve Marlton Worldwide’s All-Star Event at Siren Studios in Hollywood on Saturday night. Drizzy showed his wild side with a cheetah-print shirt underneath his tan blazer, while Nicki accessorized with a Barbie chain and Weezy puffed a cigar. Christina Milian, Flo Rida, and Yung Berg also lived it up at one of the countless events in L.A. over NBA All-Star Weekend.

First thing, FAIL! I have never been this disappointed with a video since (god actually knows when!). Dreamville didn’t fail to place their cheap and tacky product placement throughout the zero budget “music video” which may of been recorded by a BlackBerry. The only part of the video I enjoyed is when it ended! This is not the start J.Cole needs especially when the release of “Cole Word” is only around the corner. But saying that, it’s just off the mixtape so let us just pray and hope there is something better to come (he cannot do worse than this). The will impact MTV and other mainstream media in the next week.

Young Money-Cash Money toasted their moneymakers Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, and Drake at their pre-Grammy soirée at West Hollywood’s The Lot. Spirits were high as hip-hop’s hottest crew took the stage, posing for photos and saying a few words.

“I want to say that from the bottom of my heart, I could not be with a different label. And I said earlier, if somebody paid me to be with a different label, I couldn’t. These people right here are fu**in’ amazing!” said Young Money’s First Lady, who received a platinum plaque for Pink Friday. “[Wayne] four years ago saw me rapping on a motherfu**in’ starcase on a DVD in Queens, New York. This shit is fu**in’ real. Baby would come to the studio and see this crazy New York girl in the studio and now look, a million records. Shout to all my bad bitches that’s gettin’ money! YMCMB, ya dig?”

The 53rd Annual Grammy Awards have nabbed some dynamic duos. The latest batch of performers added to this year’s lineup include the pairing of Drake and Rihanna, as well as Cee LoGreen and Gwyneth Paltrow teaming up with some special friends.

RiRi and Drizzy, who have four nominations apiece, will most likely perform a rendition of their collaboration “What’s My Name?,” which peaked at the top of the Billboard Hot 100. It will mark their first live performance together.

Four-time nominee Cee Lo has a few tricks up his sleeve for his performance as well. Not only will he duet with Oscar-winning actress Paltrow, but the duo will also be accompanied by the Jim Henson Company Puppets. While unconfirmed, the motley crew could deliver a must-see moment by performing the Grammy-nominated smash “F**k You.”

Nicki Minaj will join Drake in repping for Young Money, as she makes her first appearance as a presenter, nominated with Ludacris for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group. LL Cool J, Dierks Bentley, Norah Jones, Selena Gomez, and Blake Shelton round out the list of newly-announced presenters.

Previous performers for music’s biggest night include Eminem,Lady Gaga, Arcade Fire, Justin Bieber with Usher and Jaden Smith, and the combination of B.o.B, Bruno Mars, and Janelle Monáe. The show will be broadcast live on CBS from Los Angeles’ Staples Center on February 13 at 8 p.m. EST.

Drake (ew!) rolled right out of bed and onto the red carpet to support his fellow Canadian Justin Bieber at the premiere of his 3D documentary Justin Bieber: Never Say Never in Toronto, Canada. Drizzy, sporting a scruffy look, kept it casual by repping for his team in a grey YMCMB sweater, baggy sweatpants, and Jordans.

The T-Dot native, who will perform with Rihanna at the Grammys on February 13, leads the nominations for Canada’s JUNO Awards with six nods, including Artist of the Year. He will host the show in his hometown on March 27.

Although a little random and with the video for Nicki Minaj featuring Drake “Moment 4 Life” in heavy circulation across the MTV Networks,  we was spared us a few moments from the craziness of behind the scenes of the video shoot! (thanks to Young Money Cash Money Broadcasts)  And yes with “Moment 4 Life” still not on VEVO to watch we’ve only got days before Nicki will also drop the Rihanna collaboration ”Fly“, so I ask myself – why is Nicki rushing through her lined up singles? She is going going to cut the album shelf life short right?

Fresh off his European tour with Drake, J. Cole blew up the spotlight at his 26th birthday at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill in New York City on Saturday night. The Roc Nation rapper held court with a drink in hand, while friends toasted the birthday boy. Cole’s long-awaited debut is expected to be released this spring, and will include production from No I.D., Danja, and Brian Kidd, as well as possible collaborations with Miguel and Jay-Z.
