Here come the men in black. A dapper Chris Brown and Trey Songz shared a laugh at GQ‘s Gentlemen’s Ball at The Edison Ballroom in NYC. Chris and Usher had talked about going on tour together, but due to promoter conflicts, Trey ultimately ended up as Ursh’s supporting act.

Which brings me to my next question about these two, where are there careers going? Trey Songz‘s recent LP “Passion, Pain and Pleasure” didn’t do so well on the billboard nor on the sales sheets? You would think to men like these would have a huge schedule but instead, they are being free’d up to do anything coming their way. Without a doubt I’m disappointed with Atlantic Records‘ approach to Trey’s album, there was NO promotion at all for the project – and they wonder why this LP hasn’t topped “Ready“?

And same for Chris Brown, you would of though that Jive would of tried to salvage his huge fan base instead of just releasing huge R&B records on a lower scale… it’s clear that if it wasn’t for their fan base they wouldn’t even got a budget for their project, let alone and album. Trey Songz is currently “trying” to promote his new single off the album titled “Can’t Be Friends” which is a mid-tempo contemporary ballad written by himself and Johnta Austin. (more…)

Ciara, showing off her curves in a form-fitting gray dress, toasted to turning 25 with Chris Brown and BFF Kim Kardashian at her birthday celebration last night at Greenhouse in Manhattan. Friends sang “Happy Birthday” to CiCi before she blew out the candles on her cake. The festivities continue with a Halloween-themed celebration at Haze nightclub in Las Vegas tomorrow.

The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star, who turned 30 last week, is thought to have been thrown a surprise party by her family and friends but, a few couldn’t make it as Khloe’s husband Lamar Odom was playing for the LA Lakers last night. A birthday cake was hand-delivered to Via Dei Mille restaurant in New York and the whole event was captured on camera for the sister’s new spin-off show, ‘Kourtney and Kim Take New York‘.

We’re surprised that they chose to throw Kimmy Cakes another birthday party as she had a lot of celebrations for the big 3-0 over the last couple of weeks, but not only that – it was her close friend Ciara’s 24th birthday on 25th October and she had a secret party thrown for her by friends at a club in New York.

The ‘Like A Boy‘ singer tweeted: “Thank u to all my friends that came out tonight @ club Greenhouse! It was a surprise indeed! Wearing a floral-print dress, Rihanna whipped out her Sharpie as she signed copies of her self-titled photography book at Barnes & Noble’s 5th Avenue store in New York City today. The 144-page publication, available in trade paperback and hardcover editions, is a visual chronicle of one of the world’s most-talked-about performing artists and fashion icons.

When all else fails, reach for the controversial. This, so it seems, is an M-O aspiring singer Rihanna is well versed-up in. For, despite vowing this time last year to move on from the topic of Chris Brown, The Noise spoke once again on the intimate details of their controversial relationship.This, of course, having nothing to do with the minimal buzz surrounding her new LP “Loud“, which is but a few weeks away from release.

‘God has a crazy way of working, and sometimes when stuff happens you feel like, “What did I do to deserve this?” Why was it backfiring on me?’ she says in an emotional interview in the latest issue of UK Marie Claire.‘I was very lost. The Internet lit up with reports of a possible joint tour between Usher and Chris Brown, but it never came to fruition. The “Deuces” singer is keeping it real, revealing why the tour didn’t go down and why he doesn’t keep many friends in the industry.

Breezy appeared on Angie Martinez’s Hot 97 radio show on Wednesday to discuss the cancelled outing. “We kinda had different views on the tour—no beef,” explained Chris. “We both have two different promoters, so whoever would get the tour would have to work it out and I think they didn’t see eye to eye. I think we rushed into it. We were in love with the idea more than the actual [business part of it]. We couldn’t get ready for it. Hopefully in the future, we might work something out.”

While Usher may have gone with his other R&B peer Trey Songz, Chris doesn’t hold a grudge, but does admit that he and Ursh don’t have a close relationship. “It’s whatever, we cool. I’m cordial and that’s with everybody,” said Chris. “I don’t have friends in this industry. I have my circle and I have my people who’ve been with me through the bad times and the good times. Everybody else is just wallpaper.” After the recent success of “Deuces,” industry folk came calling, but Chris could see through their fakeness. “I wasn’t like bitter. Now I see you for you. Get your money, do you. We can be cordial, we can be cool. Other than that, I don’t need to be your homie, like we don’t gotta go hang out.” (more…)

Chris Brown got back in a pop state of mind with his club-friendly jam “Yeah 3x,” but that’s only the tip of the iceberg. C. Breezy took over the airwaves to announce his upcoming album title and update listeners on its progress.

“I’m putting out singles a lot right now, so everything’s coming together,” he revealed on Austin, Texas, radio station 102.3 The Beat. “But I’m definitely going to say this and plug it quick. The name of my album is F.A.M.E., so make sure you check it out.” (hmm sounds like RiRi’s LOUD!?)

The 21-year-old singer’s fourth album title stands for “Forgiving All My Enemies,” the acronym that he got tattooed on his arm this past July. He recently released a snippet of the DJ Frank E-produced “Yeah 3x,” which will be unveiled in full within the next week.

“I got a couple things coming to y’all in the future. I’ve got the new records coming out. I’ve got one called ‘Yeah 3x.’ It’s self-explanatory, you can probably hear it on YouTube right now, but we gon’ put it out to y’all in a couple more days or something like that,” he said. “Also, we got a record called ‘Calypso.’ I got a couple other things. So I’m trying to get everything together, figure out what I’mma do with the album.”

Chris Brown and Usher fans were in glee earlier this week when Bryan-Michael Cox announced that the duo were going on tour. However, even after Brown proposed to the idea on his Twitter, the plans for the show have been officially scrapped. There is no official word from either artist’s camp as to why the venture was canceled. Brown has since removed any messages referring to the tour from his Twitter page.

But according to Usher‘s camp, this is all just talk – for now, at least. “There are no plans at this time for Usher and Chris Brown to tour together,” reps for the 31-year-old singer said. Brown’s reps said ditto with the statement: “There is no confirmed Chris Brown and Usher tour at this time.”

Perhaps they’re just waiting to see how badly fans want it. Brown tweeted Wednesday, “Would you pay to see an Usher and Chris Brown concert/tour,” followed by, “RT #CBUSHERTOUR if u want it to happen.” Lo and behold, at the time of this posting, #cbushertour was a trending topic.

And now this is now why I’m sticking to my new quote of the year…”I’ll believe it when I see it”, although a Chris Brown and Usher tour would of been a done deal for world wide success it seems to me that those on Usher‘s side are getting a bit too greedy! I guess we’ll just be stuck with Rihanna and her squealing as the only alternative unless we go to Trey Songz’s sex show, ‘Passion, Pain, & Pleasure’. R&B crooners Chris Brown and Usher are reportedly going on tour together. – Okay here we go!

According to their mutual friend and producer,Bryan Michael Cox, the two hit-makers are also planning on recording a track together. – I find the all really hard to believe, even though they are label friends but Chris Brown‘s tour just got axed due to reasons which I’m not going to mention (don’t worry RiRi it’s not you!). And with Usher only pushing out two extention LPs to his “Raymond Vs Raymond” I just don’t see this project taking off!

The Grammy-winning songwriter revealed on YouTube:  “Usher and the boy Chris Brown are going on tour, y’all know that, right? I might’ve just gave y’all some exclusive s**t!” Chris Breezy then took to his Twitter to add fuel to the fire by saying: “What would you guys say if me and Usher went on tour?” If this is to happen, we are pretty sure all the females around the world will make sure this event is sold out in no time. Good marketing skills!

But don’t get too excited, I’m sure some where down the line something or someone will get cancelled and then this would lead to more drama, and then who knows Chris Brown might even decided to hit/bite someone else (just kidding). Good luck with this one…but it’s just too good to be true! (more…)

Chris Brown has refused to talk about Eminem and ex-girlfriend Rihanna‘s violent video for “Love The Way You Lie“.

The promo, which stars Megan Fox and Lost actor Dominic Monaghan is themed around domestic violence, showing the pair trapped in an abusive relationship – a topic that after Chris assaulted RiRi last year would know all about.

Brown infamously attacked Rihanna – who sings the chorus on the track – before the 2009 Grammy Awards and was found guilty of assault following the incident. Journalists quizzed Brown about the video when he was promoting his new movie “Takers“ (with T.I.), but the shamed singer refused to answer any questions related to the promo. He turned to the help of his representative who ordered that the journalist ask Chris another question, unrelated to Rihanna or the “Love The Way You Lie“ video.

Rihanna previously stated that she wanted to sing the chorus for Eminem because she connected to the abusive lyrics, with the song itself said to be based on the fiery relationship between Em and his ex-wife Kim Mathers. However tables turned Chris Brown‘s new single titled “Deuces” featuring Tyga has been claimed by outside sources to be aimed at Rihanna. Odd how just about Chris Brown makes his quite return to the music and “normal” life, Rihanna manages to push him back under the rock where he’s been hiding…oh well. (more…)

Rihanna turned heads in a lime green dress and flaming red hair while leaving one of her favorite New York restaurants, Da Silvano, with boyfriend Matt Kemp.

Thanks to her “Love the Way You Lie” collaboration with Eminem, RiRi has tied  Beyoncé, and Lady Gaga for the most No. 1 songs on the Pop Songs radio airplay chart, according to Billboard. While Rihanna may already be taken, Eminem‘s grandmother Betty Kresin thinks her grandson and his collaborator would make a cute couple. “Rihanna would make a suitable partner for Marshall,” she reportedly told us. “But he needs to enjoy life and not get carried away with any relationships at the moment.”

After failing to impress her fans on recent “failed” tour Rihanna is now working on her next project, which according to Island Def Jam insiders is set to be her most successful project yet…yeah – We’ve herd this all before. However with little hope of Rihanna‘s public image improving whilst the public begins to favour Chris Brown – RiRi will need anything to her back into the lime light which she doesn’t need!

Also, just a thought - notice how boyfriend Matt Kemp is always behind Rihanna, or just always looks upset or stressed when photographed around her…do I smell problems? Yes! Usher was back in the “A” to mentor 600 young people about service and leadership at Powered by Service Day in participation with his New Look Foundation, a non-profit organization that encourages youth around the country to become corporate and community leaders.

“I said I really want to do something that would motivate them, give them the proper tools that they need to understand that there’s a better world,” the singer told us. “My objective is just to open their minds.”. You know I cannot help but think there is another motive behind this…? It all really makes sense as the mid weeks for both the new extension LPs to “Raymond Vs Raymond“ roll in, BANG! her comes Usher with the new charity?

This is just a a bit too set-up and PR-y for me! In other news Usher is still working out what single to push out whilst “DJ Got Us Falling In Love” is getting a lot of love from the fans.

However, with Chris Brown increasingly looking set for a commercial comeback, aligning with Usher (who is enjoying a career resurgence of his own) can only be a good thing, at this point. Undeniably, two of the industry’s most gifted performers, a collaboration of this magnitude gives way to many a possibility – both musically and visually with any accompanying video.
