Chris Brown and Usher cancel joint tour

Chris Brown and Usher fans were in glee earlier this week when Bryan-Michael Cox announced that the duo were going on tour. However, even after Brown proposed to the idea on his Twitter, the plans for the show have been officially scrapped. There is no official word from either artist’s camp as to why the venture was canceled. Brown has since removed any messages referring to the tour from his Twitter page.
But according to Usher’s camp, this is all just talk – for now, at least. “There are no plans at this time for Usher and Chris Brown to tour together,” reps for the 31-year-old singer said. Brown’s reps said ditto with the statement: “There is no confirmed Chris Brown and Usher tour at this time.”
Perhaps they’re just waiting to see how badly fans want it. Brown tweeted Wednesday, “Would you pay to see an Usher and Chris Brown concert/tour,” followed by, “RT #CBUSHERTOUR if u want it to happen.” Lo and behold, at the time of this posting, #cbushertour was a trending topic.
And now this is now why I’m sticking to my new quote of the year…”I’ll believe it when I see it”, although a Chris Brown and Usher tour would of been a done deal for world wide success it seems to me that those on Usher’s side are getting a bit too greedy! I guess we’ll just be stuck with Rihanna and her squealing as the only alternative unless we go to Trey Songz’s sex show, ‘Passion, Pain, & Pleasure’. At least we still have Lady GaGa. Usher and Chris Brown to tour together?

R&B crooners Chris Brown and Usher are reportedly going on tour together. – Okay here we go!
According to their mutual friend and producer,Bryan Michael Cox, the two hit-makers are also planning on recording a track together. – I find the all really hard to believe, even though they are label friends but Chris Brown’s tour just got axed due to reasons which I’m not going to mention (don’t worry RiRi it’s not you!). And with Usher only pushing out two extention LPs to his “Raymond Vs Raymond” I just don’t see this project taking off!
The Grammy-winning songwriter revealed on YouTube: “Usher and the boy Chris Brown are going on tour, y’all know that, right? I might’ve just gave y’all some exclusive s**t!” Chris Breezy then took to his Twitter to add fuel to the fire by saying: “What would you guys say if me and Usher went on tour?” If this is to happen, we are pretty sure all the females around the world will make sure this event is sold out in no time. Good marketing skills!
But don’t get too excited, I’m sure some where down the line something or someone will get cancelled and then this would lead to more drama, and then who knows Chris Brown might even decided to hit/bite someone else (just kidding). Chris Brown refuses to talk about “Love The Way You Lie”

Chris Brown has refused to talk about Eminem and ex-girlfriend Rihanna’s violent video for “Love The Way You Lie“.
The promo, which stars Megan Fox and Lost actor Dominic Monaghan is themed around domestic violence, showing the pair trapped in an abusive relationship – a topic that after Chris assaulted RiRi last year would know all about.
Brown infamously attacked Rihanna – who sings the chorus on the track – before the 2009 Grammy Awards and was found guilty of assault following the incident. Journalists quizzed Brown about the video when he was promoting his new movie “Takers“ (with T.I.), but the shamed singer refused to answer any questions related to the promo. He turned to the help of his representative who ordered that the journalist ask Chris another question, unrelated to Rihanna or the “Love The Way You Lie“ video.
Rihanna previously stated that she wanted to sing the chorus for Eminem because she connected to the abusive lyrics, with the song itself said to be based on the fiery relationship between Em and his ex-wife Kim Mathers. However tables turned Chris Brown’s new single titled “Deuces” featuring Tyga has been claimed by outside sources to be aimed at Rihanna. Odd how just about Chris Brown makes his quite return to the music and “normal” life, Rihanna manages to push him back under the rock where he’s been hiding…oh well. Read the rest of this entry »
Rihanna is out…again

Rihanna turned heads in a lime green dress and flaming red hair while leaving one of her favorite New York restaurants, Da Silvano, with boyfriend Matt Kemp.
Thanks to her “Love the Way You Lie” collaboration with Eminem, RiRi has tied Beyoncé, and Lady Gaga for the most No. 1 songs on the Pop Songs radio airplay chart, according to Billboard. While Rihanna may already be taken, Eminem’s grandmother Betty Kresin thinks her grandson and his collaborator would make a cute couple. “Rihanna would make a suitable partner for Marshall,” she reportedly told us. “But he needs to enjoy life and not get carried away with any relationships at the moment.”
After failing to impress her fans on recent “failed” tour Rihanna is now working on her next project, which according to Island Def Jam insiders is set to be her most successful project yet…yeah – We’ve herd this all before. However with little hope of Rihanna’s public image improving whilst the public begins to favour Chris Brown – RiRi will need anything to her back into the lime light which she doesn’t need!
Also, just a thought - notice how boyfriend Matt Kemp is always behind Rihanna, or just always looks upset or stressed when photographed around her…do I smell problems? Yes! “New look” for Usher and Chris Brown

Usher was back in the “A” to mentor 600 young people about service and leadership at Powered by Service Day in participation with his New Look Foundation, a non-profit organization that encourages youth around the country to become corporate and community leaders.
“I said I really want to do something that would motivate them, give them the proper tools that they need to understand that there’s a better world,” the singer told us. “My objective is just to open their minds.”. You know I cannot help but think there is another motive behind this…? It all really makes sense as the mid weeks for both the new extension LPs to “Raymond Vs Raymond“ roll in, BANG! her comes Usher with the new charity?
This is just a a bit too set-up and PR-y for me! In other news Usher is still working out what single to push out whilst “DJ Got Us Falling In Love” is getting a lot of love from the fans.
However, with Chris Brown increasingly looking set for a commercial comeback, aligning with Usher (who is enjoying a career resurgence of his own) can only be a good thing, at this point. Undeniably, two of the industry’s most gifted performers, a collaboration of this magnitude gives way to many a possibility – both musically and visually with any accompanying video. T.I. gets advice off Diana Ross and takes on Chris Brown in movie!

Rapper T.I. has decided to keep his lips sealed when asked about his forthcoming wedding to his fiancée, Tameka ‘Tiny’ Cottle.
Tip said that legendary singer Diana Ross helped him realise that some things in life should be kept private. He told us: “Why offer people the opportunity to have an opinion about something they shouldn’t have an opinion about? One thing Diana Ross told me, she said, ‘You’ve got to keep something to yourself.’ I just feel like that’s something private, that’s between us.”
Tiny recently confirmed in an interview that her and T.I.’s wedding will take place sometime before the end of 2010. In addition to this, T.I. is starring in new action-packed thriller “Takers”. The movie, which is due for release next month, also features efforts fromMatt Dillon, Idris Elba, Zoë Saldana and fellow musician, Chris Brown.
T.I. was surprised at how good Brown’s acting skills were when they were filming on set, “Chris was cool, man. I think Chris gonna impress a lot of people. He does a lot of high performance, action sequences. He shows his ability. I think people will actually be presently surprised with his performance.”

Rihanna’s next album set to…flop!

Dispute Island Def Jam being convinced that “Rude Boy” singer Rihanna’s new album is set to sell more that Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” (yeah right!), inside sources have told us that the new material being developed and proposed for Rihanna’s new album is (wait for it) “poor!”. Well things do begin to add up, especially when you are failing to see out 3000 seating venues for your tour! But really, where is Rihanna going with her career. With the album “Rated R” having poor sales from the very moment the project was released, it looks like people have really and truly then have just either got bored or fed up with Rihanna! Or on the other hand, they may might of forgiven Chris Brown.
I mean, where else could of this all of come from? I suppose the reverse effects of the “hate Chris Brown” wave have started, I personally think Rihanna will get an even harder hit! With only months left to the untitled project by Rihanna to be release her and her management need to work on some sort of way where people don’t hate her as much. Other inside sources told us that the new LP was a “money fuelled” project and had pretty much no potential. I understand that album recording is a creative progress, but really Rihanna. So Soon? Chris Brown has a breakdown!

MoMo Exclusive! Chris Brown has been taking into a rehab! MoMo sources just informed us that singer Chris Brown turned himself into a local LA rehabilitation clinic, apparently he suffered the mental and emotional break down since last night’s BET awards performance!
Although reasons for why the breakdown has happened are still unclear, Chris Brown’s management were in some ways relieved from the reactions to his Michael Jackson tribute performance at the BET Awards last night. Further more, Chris Brown who broke down whilst singing Pop-Ballad “Man In The Mirror” suddenly left the venue after his performance according to some sources. Maybe it’s just gone too far for Chris Brown to handle.
Chris Brown’s previous year has been much of a roller-coaster, with the undivided attention of the media judging him whether it be good of bad. Some critics even has the nerve to say that Chris Brown’s tribute to the King of Pop was all a huge publicity stunt to win over the hearts of those lost fans.
As far as MoMo knows, that Chris Brown is currently being treated by rehabilitation clinic in LA and Chris Brown’s management are yet to give a statement about the matter – most likely they won’t; they would probably milk this story for as long as they can . Rihanna cancels yet another concert!

Things appear to be going from bad to worse for Rihanna. The model’s US ‘Last Girl On Earth Tour’ leg is reportedly in disarray due to poor ticket sales, with yet another show being cancelled just days before it was set to take place. – umhm I told you!!!
According to promoter Live Nation, the July 2nd stop in Seattle’s White River Amphitheatre has been scrapped due to (wait for it!) “production changes” (girl who we’re not stupid! we saw those ticket sales go down just like you did in “Rude Boy“). The cancellation is the latest in a string of erased dates, which include stops in Texas and Arizona. Slightly odd seeing the success of the tour in Europe, maybe people are really being influenced by the Chris Brown sympathy movement.
For some time now, there has been increasing talk of poor ticket sales of RiRi’s US tour (with hit and miss box office scores on the European leg). Hence, confirmation of such speculation comes as little surprise. I suppose that is what happens when you ignore all other signs of poor sales and then run down the budget at your record label! Chris Brown unveils new girlfriend!

Chris Brown’s rumored girlfriend Jasmine Sanders celebrated her 20th birthday Tuesday night (Jun 22) and the couple hung out with Breezy’s BFF Teyana Taylor, who tweeted these photos of them in the car on the ride over to Playhouse nightclub in Los Angeles.
Teyana also mentioned on Twitter that she and Chris baked a cake for Jasmine before heading out to the club. (Is this where we say “aww?” LOL!). Good for you Chris Brown! Good for you! I know I keep saying this and don’t get me wrong, what he did was wrong, and that is now in the past; I think we all need to get over it! – It’s time the he and us both moved on! With RiRi every five minutes flaunting her stuff with hubby Matt Kemp.
I’m not surprised that Chris Brown wanted this to be all a secret! After being rejected by Visa offices for leaving for his tour i’m sure now that he’s learnt that any public activity needs to remain private. With ever Rihanna ass licker media hype will just attack him like vultures! In addition, Chris Brown has been scheduled back into the studio to work on another album which sources told us “he’s having a break now, but we need to work on some new material which is more current.”.
So finally Chris Brown takes my advice and lays low and start work on a new project with a fresh mind! To be fair there is nothing else he can do given all the circumstances. Chris Brown is set to honour Michael Jackson at this year’s BET awards.
