Chris Brown appeared in a downtown Los Angeles courtroom today where a judge lifted the restraining order prohibiting him from going near ex-girlfriend Rihanna, reports US sources. Judge Patricia Schnegg reduced the ban to level one, meaning that the former couple can have contact as long as Brown doesn’t “harass, annoy, or molest her.” (more…)
Rihanna will be shooting the video to her smoldering new ballad “Skin,”. With the lyrics reading “So why you standing over there with your clothes on? Baby, strip down for me, go and take them off.” The song’s real hook is the fuzzy electric guitar that begins sawing through the melody about three minutes in, and continues building until it reaches a, er, climactic solo at the very end. I do adore the record and I suppose Rihanna will sex it up more in the video. The last minute kind of reminds us of Sade’s achingly beautiful “No Ordinary Love,”which was just as sensuous but perhaps a little (okay—a lot) less graphic, lyrically. – The video will be shot in LA later on this month. The Warner Music Group, were surprised to a see a high turnout to Trey Songz recent promotional tour sweeping across the globe at the moment. Further to that, close sources to Trey Songz confirmed that a new album was in development and may be recorded whilst he was in tour as a better follow up from “Passion, Pain and Pleasure“. Rumours have it that Trey will record slightly more radio friendly tracks with the help of Darkchild! DJ Khaled, after failing his attempted diet decided to hit the studios, says sources. The Cash Money/Def Jam South star recently said on his twitter he is ready to unleash a new LP. DJ Khaled recently spoke with to us about his upcoming debut album on Cash Money Records We the Best Forever. The producer and DJ said that he has brought in a few of his Cash Money compatriots for his fifth LP, most notably Young Money stars Drake and Nicki Minaj. Khaled also revealed that G.O.O.D. Yaay! Chris Brown just unveiled the official tracklist of his highly-anticipated “F.A.M.E” album. The record will hit stores on March 22nd and includes collaborations with Tyga, Lil Wayne, Busta Rhymes, Justin Bieber, Ludacris and others and Rihanna! (LOL just kidding!). In all honestly I really hope this album does so much for him, after all Chris Brown does deserve it! Even though I am very disappointed with the shameful album cover, I mean it is what it is. In the candid photos, hip-hop’s newest couple is seen cuddling on a couch while Wiz lights up a joint on set of a music video shoot in Los Angeles. “He’s pretty down to earth,” explains photographer Ross Mantle, who caught the two canoodling. “I don’t know if he’s going to get a head about him later on, but he has a bit of a young ego. Jay Sean has made an impassioned plea to Rihanna, begging her for a duet. “Rihanna would be amazing, because we’re in a very similar lane – it’s that pop/dance/ R&B thing,” he explained, adding that the Barbadian star was his favourite female artist in the world. As for their ideal track to duet on, Jay cheekily said: “It’d have to be a raunchy song and we’d have to act it out.” (yawn! get over yourself!)
