Usher’s new single, new album and new wife!?

If these rumours are to be believed, he’s also got a child on the way too! (umhm Tameeka! I told you he was gonna leave you…). So yes Usher is allegedly on the way to getting married again, and fathering another child. Rumours have it that the 31-year-old father of two is engaged to former Def Jam exec, Grace Miguel, 42, who is apparently three months pregnant with his child (dam! he didn’t wait for long!?).
The couple were snapped a couple of days ago in Atlanta’s Piedmont Park alongside Usher‘s two sons. Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Foster didn’t seem too happy with the pictures and said on Twitter: “I thank you all for your confirmation that I’m dealing with a pure bitchass dude. How did this happen? What part of the game is this? Never again.” – wow now that is a lot of hate!
Some close sources have reported that Usher and Grace were officially a couple and had been dating for six months – and that their relationship caused the Usher‘s marriage to end with Foster.
Either way Usher‘s music should of been a hint if any that change was on the way! Saying that inside sources from Jive Records said “Some people see it as a conflict of interest. She’s still under contract with Def Jam, but Grace seems to be calling the shots behind the scenes on Usher’s album…It has complicated things tremendously. Usher has her calling the shots now. Grace has been taking calls with the big bosses at Jive regarding Usher’s CD, and the label doesn’t like it.”. This can cause huge problems for Usher especially when the album has so far so gone been a success.
Swizz Beats tells us about Alicia Keys relationship

Singer Drake is getting a helping hand, err, voice, in a time of need: Alicia Keys announced Wednesday that she’ll delay releasing her duet with Beyoncé to instead push “Un-Thinkable” with him — on the heels of the news that Drake‘s debut album has been delayed. ”Thank Me Later,” which initially had a May 25 release date, is being pushed back to June 15, joining the Keys/Beyoncé duet “Put It in a Love Song” on the back burner.
Saying that Swizz Beatz spoke about his divorce and his secret engagement to Alicia Keys. The Fallin’ star is dating 31-year-old hip hop producer Beatz, real name Kasseem Dean, who is currently going through a divorce with wife Mashonda. Keys recently turned 29 and is said to have been presented by him with a seven-carat ring just before her birthday. Swizz Beatz said “she [Keys] had nothing to do with the divorce! [with Mashonda]“.
Sad to say, that there now may be new beef between one soul superstar and the underground R&B singer, “She is thrilled. She is with the man who has inspired so much of her music and her new album.” is what Alicia Keys‘ spokes person said, with both looking for a new home in New York and plans for a wedding this summer all seems to be going well for the two…let’s just hope things stay like this between Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz.
Eve Talks Interscope Split

Rapper Eve has been out of the spotlight for almost 3 years, and in January confirmed that she has parted ways with Interscope – her label home of 11 years. In a new interview, the self-proclaimed ‘pit-bull in a skirt ‘ elaborates on the split, revealing the mishandling of her shelved 2007 LP ‘Flirt’ to be the reason for her departure. Note! This isn’t the first time Interscope has mishandled a LP. not long ago 50 Cent had troubles with the label around the release of his album and he felt Interscope was pushing him in a different direction.
In respect to Eve, she’s one of a kind. Not a lot of acts out there that could push out huge dance R&b tunes like Eve; this is what she had to say (via source);
“[Interscope was] stupid because they didn’t drop me at first, they [just shelfed me] and dropped the ball. After ‘Tambourine’, they straight up were like, ‘Umm, yeah, nah, we’re not putting out the record.’ After that I was like ‘Yall gotta let me go. I’ve been here 11 years and you’re frontin on me?’ It got to that point,” she reveals. Eve who’s debut album off Interscope, Let There Be Eve… Ruff Ryders’ First Lady, debuted in 1999, says she loves the label’s chairman, Jimmy Iovine, but admits that he’s motivated by trends, no matter how much faith he’s already invested in a senior artist – “I’m not going to talk shit about him, but I don’t appreciate the fact that he didn’t go the extra mile for me.”
However, the main reason the Philly chick says she left disgruntled has everything to do with a pledge that was made to her before her 4th album, Flirt was meant to drop in 2007. “They promised me the machine. The machine is basically the roll out. It’s ‘Yo, when [Flirt] comes out, we’ll give you this, we’ll give you that. And that’s what made me mad. It’d be different if we didn’t have a mtg where people promised me shit. If they were just like ‘Oh we’re going to put the album out and see what happens,’ that would be one thing,” she says.
“But they were like ‘No, we’re making sure this happens, it’s coming out on this date.’ It was concrete. But it’s all good, everything happens how it’s supposed to, when it’s supposed to.” Eve confesses experiencing a short surge of confusion. “I definitely went through a period of ‘Are you serious?’ I think I didn’t know how to feel. Once it finally happened, it’s like ‘Damn, so you wasn’t really fucking with me?’ I went through a lot of different thoughts, but that only lasted for two days.” Almost immediately after getting dropped Eve went overseas for a series of club performances off her dubstep record, “Me N My”, and reached an epiphany that even without Interscope she was still on her right path. Currently the rapper/actress is still taking major label offers and promises fans that her recharged album, Lip Lock, will be out this year.

Lady Gaga on baby food diet

Lady GaGa‘s representative has dismissed reports that the “Poker Face” singer is on a dangerous baby food diet in order to stay slim however sources have told us her on tour demands have been (for legal issues we cannot mention the brand) types of baby food; right from baby biscuits to the actual blended food!
According to sources, Lady GaGa‘s dramatic weight loss was due to the singer allegedly living off baby food, causing friends to fear for her health as the singer battled on through gruelling live performances on little energy (as seen on many fan videos). A friend of Lady GaGa told us “Everyone is really worried about GaGa (ain’t we all?). She’s not eating healthily at all. She’s substituting meals for jars of baby food.” So it looks like Lady GaGa is going gaga! Saying that I hope this is not true, this could lead to complicated mental and physically issues and man cause damage to her over worked body! Lady GaGa is also working on a new album and is currently pushing out a remix album for the time being whilst on tour.
Lady GaGa, who recently claimed she wants the best body in showbiz was said to have stated that the diet is doing wonders for her body but pals of the “Telephone“ singer were debating intervening in the singers eating habits if she continued eating baby food.
I hope Lady GaGa takes some sort of break, she did recently pass out during a performance of “Bad Romance” – all this could lead in to a huge mental break-down which could push back all of Lady GaGa‘s projects for months on end. I won’t hurt if Lady GaGa after her sell-out world tour takes a break before she embraces on another one. In other news Christina Aguilera, seems to be copying the looks of Lady GaGa‘s “The Fame” days – right from the hair, to the walk and to the singing. Although Lady GaGa hasn’t responded to Christina Aguilera‘s sudden change of image and comeback everyone has begun to clock here game plan – which will soon come to an end. Christina Aguilera‘s début album and single are struggling to make it onto the hot 100!
The Dream’s “Love King” started to flop before release?

The-Dream is planning a summer release for his new album, “Love King“, which will hit stores on June 22nd. The album is being preceded by the title track first single which has thus far peaked at #26 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and #92 on the Billboard Hot 100. The-Dream’s previous LP, “Love vs. Money“, received rave reviews from critics and was ranked at the 8th best album of 2009 by Rolling Stone magazine despite being overlooked at this year’s Grammy Awards ceremony.
Saying that, The-Dream‘s “Love King” single has nothing to scream about, this single could of been place on “Love vs. Money” or even his début “The American Dream“ thus showing no true progression with his style. That said the video is plain boring and I’m sure his wife and mother of child (Christina Milian) would have a few things to say about this! I do no predict great things for this album, so don’t brace yourselves for anything special – you’d be lucky if you hear on day time radio. In other news The-Dream is still fighting a case over a copyright issues on the single “My Love” from the “Love vs. Money” album.

Nick Cannon gifts diamond ring to Mariah Carey every year! (and i’m sure she’s worth it!). So with Nick Cannon (who recently revealed he doesn’t mind being called Mr Carey…eek!) and Mariah Carey will be renewing their wedding vows for the third time, apparently according to “Mr Carey” this happens every year (oh, that must get boring). Well “Mr Carey” sure loves Mariah Carey when he purchased her engagement ring back in 2008 during the release of MiMi’s #19 number one single “Touch My Body” – which is a reportedly estimated $2.2 million from exclusive jeweller Jacob & Co. Nick Cannon said “She is, to me, the most famous woman in the world. I knew [my life] was going to change, and I was up for it. Considering everything, I was like, ‘hey, it doesn’t matter.” He went on to say “The last two weddings we had were kind of island-driven and off in remote places. This time we’re going to do it home.” – I suppose this would come as a relief for Mariah Carey who didn’t even invite her mother to the secret wedding in 2008.
Further more Mariah Carey is currently working on her new album which is due for a November release, although slightly worried about how people may react to this album, I’m sure (as always) Mariah Carey will pull through (fingers crossed!). Recent photos have also may suggested that Mariah Carey has been putting on a little weight, yet again fuelling the pregnancy rumours! But this is typical MiMi, gain weight, have a bit of fun, spend money and then push out a successfully album and a #1 single (all in a year’s work!). Saying that, we’ve not heard a lot from diva Mariah Carey in a while but she did say “I might just have to hurry up and do it so the rumors can go away…my schedule is starting to calm down, you never know. In the next year or two the rumors might come true.”
Trey Songz “I’m not single ladies…”

To many lady’s dismay, (yes it is true) Trey Songz is engaged to Ethiopian beauty queen Helen (current Miss Ethiopia 2010 and backing dancer). This is the same girl that told Lil Wayne, “thanks but no thanks” when he tried to “holla”. She told him she already had a man and that man is R&B star Trey Songz. Lil Wayne was shocked about the rejection and sources told us he said “I don’t even wanna put that man out there, that might not be his girlfriend, but in her mind she think she yours, dog, and she told me no for you, so you’s a G. And this wasn’t long ago, this was recently, I was the president, I had all that going for me, b*$#&h said NO! She sent me a picture of y’all and everything, like that new video from 50 and Ciara, that’s how y’all was.” – what ever that means!
Trey Songz spoke about being engaged to Helen, saying that “We met about two years ago. We started off just kicking it. She’s a dancer…We’d talk and chill. I didn’t see her much because when I met her, she was on the road with Omarion.” He then went on to say “Now she dances for Chris Brown. She was on the road dancing for Omarion and Marques Houston at the time. Eventually we would talk on the phone, ’cause my homeboy Pleasure, from Pretty Ricky, actually hooked us up.”
“Well, I’ll say he introduced us. From there, we went on that first tour together. I was on the Holiday Jam Scream Tour. She was on it too. We ain’t never really get a chance to kick it. She’d see me and she’d just kind of brush me off, but I’d be trying to holler at her. She’d see me with all different kinds of chicks and she wasn’t really feeling that.”
At times I find it hard to see Trey Songz with an ordinary girl, it just doesn’t seem like the girl he’d go for. Now that Trey Songz and Helen are engaged I do wonder if this will have an effect or his appeal or even music!? Further more so, when is the wedding!? One way of the other both will make beautiful children! Trey Songz is currently reading his live session album with MTV Unplugged.
