Jay Sean’s next album to be recorded and produced in the UK

With Jay Sean pretty much withdrawing from the American market, close sources from UK Island Records have taken Jay Sean’s career in a “new direction” (hm right…). That meaning that it’s clear that Jay Sean (who failed to fill up all 600 seats at the Zankel Hall last night in New York), needs to return to the UK where his brand identity isn’t damaged to the extent it is in the states.
What UK Island Records told us that “it will take some time…it’s a creative process and cannot be rushed” – to me and you that means – Jay is going to do a disappearing act and then return! If Jay Sean decides to go down the Urban route he could pretty much piece together what’s left of his career – hopefully with the help of Island Records, maybe Jay could get a few singles of huge producers such a RedOne or even Darkchild, however huge names like that are reluctant to give away guaranteed hits to fail projects like Jay Sean.
It is literally make or brake for Jay Sean now, what he needs to understand is that he’s not a well enough established artist for him to afford to take huge breaks during his career, if anything he should be in the studio not recording that new album – if he leaves it too late it may cost him. Remember guys, Jay Sean is only in a one album contract with Island Records, and i’m sure they would be more than happy to let him go (right?), but then – they must of seen some potential to sign him in the first place!?
Rihanna moves in love interest Matt Kemp!

“Rude Boy” singer Rihanna pictured here with her new “BF” Matt Kemp have seemed to be having a growing relationship, yet avoiding any public announcements! Matt Kemp who is a s a Major League Baseball outfielder with the Los Angeles Dodgers hasn’t given any public announced yet about himself or Rihanna!
Back in January they went on holiday to Mexico together, However the pair have always said they were just friends (no shit…?).
A source told Star magazine in the US, “Matt is very happy to be moving in with Rihanna. He knew it was only a matter of time before Rihanna moved him in. He wants to make her happy. He had boxes of his things brought over in mid-March.” – are you hearing this right…Rude Girl moved in Rude Boy!? – Mr Kemp seems to smell like a gold digger!
It’s also reported Rihanna was introduced to the sports star’s family at a charity fundraiser he organised recently, the source said, “Matt was happy she came. It was an awesome show of support. Rihanna fit right in as if they all knew each other. It was comfortable.” – aww how sweet…not! It’s so clear that Rihanna is on the rebound form Chris Brown and as a result, she found the next good locking brown guy who happened to have mutual friends with Umbrella singer!
If you ask me (not like you have a choice!), this wont last that long, come on now guys are you for-real!? Before you know it they’ll get married, Rihanna wont sign a prenuptial and then BANG! divorces and Mr Kemp won’t need to do anything else for the rest of his life…okay so that was a little over the top, but you get my idea right? So Chris Brown, I think it’s time for you too to move on!
Young Money Album Certified Gold

Congratulations to the Young Money family who’s début group album went Platinum this week after it’s release in December 2009. I have also come to learn that since the departure of Jay Sean (bo-ho) We Are Young Money is the first collaboration studio album from Young Money Entertainment. It was released on December 21, 2009. Featured guests are recently-signed Young Money artist Short Dawg, Lloyd, Birdman, and Gucci Mane (i see…).
Although a little surprising, as many people expected this album not to do so well – come on now, who does a label family album? – was it a desperate cry for some more money to bail Lil’ Wayne out? The album debuted at number nine on the Billboard 200, selling 143,000 in its first week. The album was met with mixed reviews from critics and did well on the Billboard chart. The next week, the album dropped down three spots to #12, selling 42,000 copies. However after continuous airplays of the group single “BedRock” and huge circulation of other tracks off the LP, the album just about managed to certify Gold! – still platinum is a far cry away, but as they say…We Are Young Money.
Sean Kingston to save Sugababes?

With the Sugababes‘ ‘Sweet 7′ project in turmoil, the ladies are looking to their collaboration with rapper Sean Kingston ,’Miss Everything’, in a last ditch effort to revive the album’s sales. The song, as confirmed by Radio 1, will serve as the official next single from the record. Note! This decision was not made by the girls, as the were dropped – Roc Nation are using this as the final chance for the album to have some sort of activity (yeah, like that is really going to happen!).
In my opinion you are not going to get high record sales just because these girls have added Sean Kingston on a track – who knows, this may even effect Sean Kingston‘s career in a negative way! Either way theses girls are going no where, and like i previously stated they are a money eating black hole! Huge amounts of money went into the production of ‘Sweet 7′. Roc Nation have confirmed that all promotion by the label will be seized by April 2nd and will be removed from the company’s catalogue of albums.
This is very disappointing not only for the girls but for all other music individuals that put their time into this failing LP – RedOne, Pharrell and other music producers and song writers, this will come as a huge shock and for many this is the first time they’ve seen a huge project have very little or no commercial success. In other news Jay Z is planning to sign ex-member of the band Keisha Buchanan (hmm…).
Yes, Beyonce is Pregnant!

Beyonce fans, sit down and take a few breaths! Sources have revealed that Beyonce is reportedly pregnant with her first child. The Sweet Dreams singer, who is married to rapper Jay-Z, is rumoured to be expecting the couple’s first baby after nearly two years of marriage.
According to US sources, they have: “learned from a rock solid source, that the pop superstar’s expecting, is doing fine and resting (for now).” (Yay!). Sources also revealed that Beyonce’s hubby is said to be: “extremely happy to be having his first child with Bey.”
The former Destiny’s Child star, who recently collaborated with Lady GaGa on the number 1 hitTelephone, is thought to be working through her pregnancy up until her due date.
Beyonce wed the Empire State Of Mind rapper in a candlelit ceremony back in April 2008 but the couple have always tried to keep their relationship out of the public eye. However Knowles, 28 has always spoken publically about her desire to have a family. She has previously stated: “Well, I’m an ambitious woman, and when I do anything, I do it really hard,” ”If I work out, I work out really hard, and if I love somebody, I love them all the way. She added: “I’m very loyal. I want a whole bunch of kids – but after I’ve got certain things out of my system first.” This seems to come at a good time, after rapper 50 Cent‘s comments on Jay Z and Beyonce’s relationship! – take that 50!
Justin Timberlake admits he’s going to struggle

Justin Timberlake told close sources that the singer/songwriter will find it hard for his commercial comeback later on this year. “music has definitely changed since when I came out with FutureSex/LoveSounds, i’m just going to have to keep up with the competition out there…yes, there are a lot of talented acts…but that’s something i’ve just got to deal with”. FutureSex/LoveSounds was JT’s four times platinum selling album and made Justin’s Pop/R&B career today.
With that in account, it’s clear that Justin has thought about this – seeing huge titles like Rihanna’s Rated R and Mariah’s Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel have poor commercial success, JT will have to push himself further for this LP. Sources from JT’s label have confirmed that the Untitled album is mid-way through production and have also confirmed (these are not all of them!) that T.I., Rihanna and Drake will feature on the new LP. Depending on the album’s success which will be released around November 2010, there will be a short promotional tour.
With all that said i’m slightly worried about this LP, with JT vanished off the music scene for a total of four years I can sense that this album maybe pushed back into January 2011! Furthermore, JT has also joined the increasing amount of music stars that now feature in films (sigh!). Justin is currently working on “Sherk Forever After” and the comedy film drama “The Social Network” – well JT if all else fails, you still got your acting!
