JLS signed to Jive Records

It was confirmed today that JLS have singed to Jive Records (owned by the Zomba Music Group). Overall this is great news, this means the boys will be in the home of Britney Spears, Chris Brown, Ciara, and Usher (maybe a collaboration!?).
Without trying to laugh…Haha Alexandra! (well she’s only gone and singed a deal with Eipc), but it’s clear that the true winners of the X-Factor were JLS. With work on their new album already started and talks of tour (a bit hard believe – a very short set list!) will pushed them on to the top of the world stage! Since there is no boy band out there like this, not to think of all the endorsements they will do!

Alicia Keys To Retire!?

Alicia keys confronted the rumours about her Retirement. Turning 29 only a few days ago, she told us that she would like the option of retiring when she hits 30 (why!?). With her album sales on the ups it’s hard to imagine why this singer would wan’t to call it quits (when some acts do seem to acknowledge their age…no names).
Even more so, Alicia is only going to be 30 next year, maybe she’s opted for this in the event of losing the talented voice!? In her recent interview on the “Jonathan Ross Show” she said that she wishes to work with Lauryn Hill (who recently did a live performance after 3 years!). She also spoke about the idea of her and the “Kings of Leon” doing a song together.
“I was just saying that I would like the option to be able to retire by 30,” she clarified to Ross. “I feel very blessed . . . but I definitely have so much more to do. I have so many things that I want to do, so many more things I want to get involved in, important things I want to do . . . I have to perform, I love it so much.”

Okay so this is begging to creep me out! this video titled “9.20.19.13.5.723378” has been going round the internet, it definitely some’s new promo video to their new album…my hunches are Lady Gaga, Ke$sha or even Christina! Let me know guys…kinda freaky!!!
Mariah Pushes Back 20th Album…Again

Okay, to be 100% honest with you. Not Suprized! She clearly needs to go back to the drawing boards with the album and focus more on her tour rather than pushing to a tight cut with the new album titled “Angel’s Advocate”.
The new release date is now March 23rd! (WHAT!?), although some people have slated the Diva stating ”Mariah would definitely have benefited from pretending ’Memoirs’ never happened and laying low musically for a while (to recharge her creative batteries and give the public a break).”, it wouldn’t also come as a surprise if she did.
We all just about got over the overwhelming promotion form E=MC2! Maybe MiMi should try and squeeze in a world tour and preform more of her greatest hits. With that in mind, record labels Sony, Def Jam and Virgin agreed to release a compilation album titled “The Evolution of Mariah Carey” – (so it’s going to be all her huge songs from 1990-2010) to be released at the end of this year. Christina Aguilera is back!

So after a very long time Christina found her genie in a bottle and made it back to music (thank god!). It was about time we all herd her powerful voice once again!
With her new album “Bionic” to be released in April this year, there is no surprise that she was going to show us what she’s got and what we are going to be waiting for! All that aside a source told us Aguilera said that her upcoming album will be “short, sweet and completely different” from her previous long player Back to Basics. After the birth of her son, Christina stated in an interview with Ryan Seacrestthat her forthcoming album will include a totally new aspect of herself as an artist, because of the pregnancy with her son. It has been announced that she will start official promotion after completing filming the movie Burlesque, which started in November 2009.
