Simon Cowell has responded to Eminem’s recent comments that he would make a good X Factor judge by inviting the rapper to appear on the show (oh my!). Cowell revealed he is already close to Eminem – who he calls Em. “It would be great to have him on as a guest judge,” he said. “Em – I call him that because we are on first name terms – the job is yours.” Eminem previously admitted that he found it frustrating that hip-hop rarely features on XFactor and then added that the finalists of the show not only need to be taught how to put on a good performance, but how to live with the reality of the fame that comes with the £1,000,000 recording contract!
Eminem said ““No disrespect to the current judges but you need people who are global, platinum-selling stars. You need to prepare contestants for what it’s really like out there, and what sort of pressure you are going to be under.” he then went on to say “So much average talent comes out of these reality shows, it’s time to give people a chance who deserve it. hip-hop star will never win a show like The X Factor without somebody like me on the panel…”. Which overall leads to the next big question, is XFactor only reaching out to Artists who can move discs off the shelf!? Kid Cudi dropped from Monster Ball Tour!

Okay people! it’s official! Interscope records finally announced that Cudi is “no-longer with the tour” (how emotional!). No official information has been released as to why he was dropped from the tour, but i have a feeling it’s got something to do with him punching his fans outside the Vancouver venue!
TMZ released images of those “victims” who got punched. Lady Gaga’s spokesman said “Lady Gaga is currently rehearsing for her upcoming tour dates, although the new has come as shock to her she believes her record label are making the right decision given the circumstances” . That’s a shame for Cudi, who album “Cudder” (co-produced by Jay Z), is set for release early 2010.
While Lady Gaga is enjoying her time on tour and on top of the Billboard charts, confirmation was given that Jason Derulo will be the new opening act for Lady Gaga World Monster Ball Tour which is yes…SOLD OUT!
Shane Sparks Charged With Child Molestation

“America’s Next Best Dance Crew” judge Shane Sparks has been charged with Child Molestation – eight counts to be exact! To be fair, I was pretty shocked not only by who it was but of how common this story seems to be getting! First we had Pleasure P then Lil Wayne it was only a matter of time before we found out who else is going to be added to the list!
A source told us that Sparks, also a choreographer on “So You Think You Can Dance”, was picked up by police on Friday in Los Angeles at his North Hollywood home. A complaint was filed against Sparks, 35, by his alleged victim, who claims the abuse went on for several years in the ’90s. The victim, an adult female, told authorities she was under 15 when the abuse occurred. Sparks is currently being held at Van Nuys jail on $590,000 bail.
Television networks are still deciding whether to drop Sparks from their shows, many people are still shocked and soon after Sparks arrest another choreographer was also given charges for rape and assault, co judge and good friend of Sparks, Lil Mama said “y’all this is crazy, I wouldn’t of expected something like this…from him. I don’t know what you want me to say..like”. So i guess “So you think you can dance” and “America’s Next Best Dance Crew” will be now looking for new judges!
Sade makes a return!

Soldier of Love is the much anticipated upcoming sixth studio album from British soul and R&B band Sade. It is their first new material since the 2000 multi-platinum Lovers Rock. The album is slated for release on February 8, 2010.
Sade spoke about her album, saying she had given her all for this and hope it really pays off. Vibe Magazine said that “The voice is still there!”. Watch this space Sade fans, finally an return that is worth while!

Beyonce – now you can smell like her!

So, with “Heat” being Beyonce’s first ever fragrance (not endorsement!) on the market, it came to quite a surprise and i wondered why B didn’t think of this before?
Just in time for Christmas the advert is already parading itself across prime time television. Coty Inc. CEO Bernd Beetz announced plans today to develop and market a Beyonce fragrance way back in October (during the I Am Tour), however that was all set for release in 2010, not December.
For me, fragrance reflects a woman’s attitude and unique sense of style,” said Beyonce. “While I love various perfumes, I haven’t found a scent that truly personifies me as a woman. Rihanna – it’s all over!

With Rihanna’s latest album “Rated R” only dropping out of the top 20 within a week of released, i think everyone knows that Rihanna flopped – but who is to blame?
Is it Chris, Her Stylist, LA Reid or Good Girl Gone Bad herself!? Even after her X-Factor appearance (which I didn’t like), Rihanna is still failing to connect with us! It’s a shame with Def Jam splashing huge amounts of cash into the promotion of the this album it’s only moving down about 5 places each week on the Billboard charts. In regards to Rihanna’s new look, it never got a good reception in a recent poll about 78% of people preferred Rihanna in the days of Umbrella and then a further 81% said her hair was an attempt to copy Keri Hilson (who’s share in the R&B market seems to be growing!).
With huge efforts to pushing her new single off the “Rated R” album “Hard”. The video was only released a matter of days ago, and play demand on the radio and television networks are at an all time low for Rihanna. This is not in huge contrast to ex-boyfriend and former woman beater Chris Brown, who’s albums are being sent back from record stores despite and official apology from himself and a huge push from Jive records, it’s hard to tell who’s career will come on top.
Que gets dropped by Day 26!

Que (former member of P Diddy’s Making The Band “Day 26″), was officially dropped by the band and Bad Boy Entertainment.
Quawnell Mosley aka Que from Day 26, tweeted that he had received a letter from the R&B group Day 26 stating that he will be departed from the group. Many fans have already discussed their “beef” with the situation and have supported Que on his twitter and his ustream show (like Day 26 was going anywhere in their music career!).
The departure comes at no surprise, for those who are familiar with Day 26 should know that Que was one of the only band members who didn’t get along with everyone – I can recall from the show “some people need to fix up, they just $%&@ me off!!!”. Mariah to release 20th Album!?

With Diva Mariah Carey’s PR and sales at a low after her highly anticipated album “Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel” reached #1 on the billboard charts and beating Whitney Huston’s comeback album “I Look To You” in sales, it’s already been announced that Mariah is set to release her new album (just to add to the ever expanding catalogue of Mimi adventures) on February 23rd 2010.
To my shock, the album is not all out “I’m Mariah Carey Look At Me”, but actually an entire album which is of collaborations with Mimi. Artists such as Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, T-Pain, R. Kelly, K-Ci & JoJo, Big Boi, Trey Songz, Nicki Minaj, Ne-Yo, Timbaland and Fabolous will appear on the album. The as-yet untitled album will be supported with a fresh take on Mariah’s promotion and video appearances.
If all goes well (which I pray it does), Mariah see 2010′s best album titled been given to her. Alongside Mariah’s tour taking place this very moment (no world dates been confirmed), it seems that the Diva is yet again getting ready for a busy year. Which raises the issue, when is the woman gonna have baby Carey-Cannons!? It seems like every interview she walks into and get asked the same question.
